lot of people are saying the scores are so low they cant compete. I for one dont play enough to shoot those low scores to compete so just play now and again

Thanks for this T. Bear in mind my response is not directed at you but to this comment in general.

The whole aim of the tour is to help people improve by having the opportunity to play with some of WGT's finest players. There are many complaints in the forums saying that these people are untouchable and unapproachable. This tour is that avenue for players who want to improve to reach the level of that upper tier of player.

Beyond this, the tour costs nothing to play in beyond your time and the cost of balls. What's the difference between playing this and a standard stroke play game that many do on a daily basis?

The tour is structured also to allow for different players to win credits each week. Yes the top players are more likely to win these but there have been instances already of a wide range of players winning credits. Added to this, with five end of season tour finals this avenue gave all players a fair way to end up participating in a group of players at their own level.

I'm going to create a feedback section soon as I want to know what people are thinking. The only way running something like this can be successful is to know what people want. As I've said to others, everyone wants something different and to please everyone is always going to be very challenging.

thx jim for all the work you put in. i understand what your saying. i for one dont play many ranked rounds since becoming legend , hence my handicap. but personally i dont like playing any sport when i know i havent got a chance of winning. maybe when i improve a bit i will play the tour a lot more. it just gets a bit demoralising when you find out just before you play that someone has shot 27 on a tough course with starter irons. but thx again for your hard work. i will try to play and support the tour as much as i can.

Well ok, i dont accept any creds won, nor can i win this tour...its easy for me too see when i'm playing the likes of players like Priestess, Luis, Kris, or you Jim, but for some of the newer players with new game its not easy, and oft frustrating for sure,,,,for me, and im sure many.... its all for fun, so in todays round 3 with Luis, id love to get a cup with my golfers name inscribed for my eagle on hole 2, par 4 at Oakmont during a very hard US open tournament format.   I'm probs different than many others here, but im thinking more recognition for the also rans keeps it more interesting for the players that dont win.............and yes what a challenge that would be when you are all ready over burdened.

I like your idea of giving points to everyone that makes cuts, there are no pga players irg not paid for making cuts......we all  love the commentaries from yourself ie tonyturbo, and yodas too.   LOL   Fantastic job guys, its an incredibly fun tourney that we should all look forward to playing in!

Jim. I could use a ruling here. I am paired with Kriztjan for rnd 3. He just turned Tour Legend, so we have Championship greens. We are playing as we speak because he has to get his round in. Should I be able to play again on tournament greens is my Question? What ever you decide is fine with me. Just a game.Send me a blog if you can. or i will look on here.

Good question--I'll be interested in the answer as I'm scheduled to play with Ironking-TL

Very valid point which I'll discuss through with Andy and Luciano before making a decision. This hadn't been taken into account and I'm sure going forward, we will aim to put TL's together (where possible) for ranked rounds.

I'll come back with a decision in the next few hours.

:) I think that, now that we have the option to put the Tournaments greens in practice mode, we can create the same conditions of play as a ranked round.

I think that, because is an important tournaments, all players need to have same possibilities to win, meaning same conditions.

    IMPORTANT!!

Guys I need a ruling here.  Myself and Wayne, PB1711 have just played our round, I hit my last putt on the last hole and the game froze on my backswing.  I waited and waited but nothing happened then I got this flash error message.  I took screens regularly through the round, what do I need to do here?  Seeing as I have the screenies and it was the very last shot of the round, can I just play the 18th again on the b9 or what?

    Here's the screens

Oh and this was the very last temp screenshot I took of the card which is on the 17th tee.  After this point, we both birdied 17 and Wayne had birdied 18 which left me to put out at the end when it froze.
