The CTTH Putting Challenge

  The CTTH Putting Challenge is a lot of fun ...but tough at least for me.  Holes 3, 8, and 9 are long downhill putts that accelerate approaching the cup.  Anyone have any tips?

  So far, 160 feet is my best on the 2nd try.

  hole 3 is a 95 percent full meter on 30 feet one box out to the right

  Is their any evidence of anyone ever draining that 260 foot monster on 8? Closest I've gotten was about 4 1/2 feet.

  I've never actually made any of these putts, but I've had two hole out on 3 and come within inches on 6 and 7

  I have made four of them.

  The long putt on 8 I lipped out to within 1.8 feet that is the closest one I have seen on that hole.

  I have not yet seen the putt on the second hole made either.

  I didn't save it but....in a "not in the spirit of the game" sort of way...I hit the hole and ended 6 inches away with my chip on the second hole while just messing around...50 yard wedge..was using wedges on all of the shots just for fun.....just a hair under full...aimed obviously at the fringe on the left...probably would have gone about 4-5 feet past, but, it hit the center and bounced just outside the hole.

  Is it just me or is WGT a LITTLE slow with the anouncement?  Been playing it since 1st few days of Aug?   Made me think they added another one.

  I've drained the putt on #8 3 times now (one is saved on replay in my profile). The putt I find impossible to get close is hole 2.

  Not sure if this will help, as I do my calculations in yards not power percentage, but, I've aced #3 twice using 23 yds. 2.5 grid lines right (ding) ,and # 8  once at 177 yds. 11/16ths  inch left of ding . On  #5 I had a lip out at 18 yds. at 2 grid lines right and 1/8th inch right of ding. Very tough course, gotta putt like a ninja :)

  On hole # 3 take pull back meter to outside edge of putter,no further,then push the putt about half way on right side of meter line.Hope u understand.

  On hole # 8 pull back just slightly past golf shoe,I mean just a hair or 2,then b 4 half way on first half of meter gauge.

  On # 9 pullback to outside edge of putter,then push about half way on right side of meter gauge
