The issue with the two speeds of tournament greens should be an easy fix for WGT.
In terms of a comment made earlier, when you go to a golf course in real golf to play a round, you have a putting green to putt on before you tee off and you get a feel for the green speed in that way. Golf courses cut their greens to the same height and the putting green is no exception.
It is true that some green, the 14th at Kiawah is a good example are exposed to the wind and if the wind if blowing then it might putt a little differently or dry out more. However while the wind can effect your putts on WGT, the green speeds don't vary because of the exposure to the elements on here.
We don't need a stimpmeter that varies by green or even by course, although that would be cool for WGT to have. We simply need to know the green speed. Why have standard and slow and fast which are all as close together as the two tournament speeds if you aren't going to differentiate between those. I know you can hit it harder and the first time you do and knock it 8 feet by because it wasn't the slower version then you are pissed.
It's a very simple thing why can't we just change the name WGT.
