PUHOLINO:
The 11th on St. Andrews is listed as 180y for legends because they have the pin in the front of the green, just past the bunker, so a much harder pin, even though it's shorter. Masters usually have the pin on the far side of the green, so they still have a shorter dinstance from tee to green, they have a longer distance to their pin. At least I think it's like that (my first day as a legend, lol). The same applies to BpB 15th.

I'm sorry to say that this is not the reason. The nominal length given on the scorecard and on WGT's hole description is
- to a design point in the middle of the green on real golf courses,
- to one of the pins (usually) in WGT.
It ain't measured shortest distance but over the designed line of the hole, think of doglegs.
The distance to one or the other of the pins is a different measurement. The nominal value (scorecard/description) will not change but the indication in the top right corner of the game client will change on Par 3s only. STA#11 is 180 yds Legend tee / 182 yds Master tee to the back pin and something like 166 yds to the front pin for Masters (?164 for Legends?).
On Par 4s and Par 5s the difference is not given in the top right corner but only when hovering over the "player" dot on the overview picture.
This applies to all holes with multiple tees.
