Seems like the PGA pros are playing this hole from my tees today. 293 yards, probably have 10-20 eagles..sheesh

Thats the hole that swallowed 2 of my Callaways in the weeds and 4 shots later totally ruining my round . Geez penalty strokes and 600 credits man what a rip off.

Here's a little something I came across while checking Kiawah's official page. A PDFs format  file of the course, hole by hole including tips from the architect ( Pete Dye).

Now it did not make me shoot under par but it sure did help with my game overall. Knowing where to aim for the best shot especially on the greens. I managed to birdie and par a couple of holes with this knowledge and will be able to get lower scores in the future. Just set it up in my Adobe Editions reader and looked at each hole before playing it. It's also nice to read up on the architectural part of this Ocean course in the tips section of each hole. Would be nice if they implemented these tips from the architect while playing on WGT site.

    Happy Golfing!

Someone generally posts on the forums a similar file on each hole for the Open courses and it is pretty helpful.

The PDF, I think is the same thing as the yardage book you get when you play at Kiawah in real golf and it is pretty helpful in getting around it your first time.

Hole #3 can play from 390 to 290 depending on the tees that are used.  I actually think that it's a trap shot, because if you are long or left you can easily go into the hazard.  A shot at the green can catch those trees or the mulch like Roy M did yesterday.

You saw many of the pros, even from 293 lay up short and play a wedge in.
