Every time I play Olympic, I swear off of it, then a tournament calls me back, I curse it, and I swear off again....repeat.

Olympic is like Oakmont to me. At first you hate it then you end up loving it. :-)

except i hated it at 1st & i ended up loathing it ..
shot my 1st 29 on Oly front 9 though .. won't see that happening again anytime soon methinks ..

Oakmont and Olympic are stellar tests. Doing the homework to prepare for the test is the biggest issue most have. You gotta play both of them enough to get bruised and beaten up until you know them. Avoiding them fuels the feeling of doom.
Both can be teased and courted to give it up. You just can't expect to get to third base every time. Sometimes first base or some over the sweater action is all they're interested in at the time. ;-)

LMAO .. great analogy
yes, i do rotate my ranked games over all courses .. when anyone checks my play history they'll see that my last 13 ranked games (which of course is the max amount of games shown on the game history display before scrolling down) usually covers 6 to 8 diffirent courses ..
& Oak is up next .. it's really a love/hate kinda thing .. i feel troubled when i avoid Oak for too long .. she always manages to draw me back & give me a good spanking .. especially front 9 ..
