  Its a gr8 idea...  execution leaves much to be desired, what is wrong with a simple Algorithm?... I fail to see how screwing the whole multiplayer system is an improvement...  there... RANT OVER

  So toite I'e been playing twice and the game shows one player either quitting or loosing connction. The everyone in the ame is gone just a blank screen. Not my fault but counts aainst me. No good

  here's the deal...I am showing that I have a 90% completion rate (but I have 313 consecutive days played- I haven't missed a day since joining last October 23rd, 2011- and Mostly Multi-Player rounds-that's how I leveled up (90 and by getting a good amount of xp points for multiplayer rounds played and finished) and tiered up (TM) kind of fast) But...I have NEVER QUIT or DISCONNECTED FROM A MULTIPLAYER ROUND, PERIOD !!! NOW I HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED BY THAT 'UNEXPECTED ERROR' or BY SOME LOADING ISSUE OR INTERNET CONNECTION ISSUE...Okay so I am penalized for that.  But I can handle that...even though that is somewhat 'misleading' !!! My main concern...is the fact that when some one want to join me for a round...may see that I have a 10% QUIT or DISCONNECT RATE !!! And that is simply not true !! So now you may not want to join me in a round thinking that I may quit or disconnect on them !!! And that is the part I don't like !!! And to add 'Insult to Injury' (if you will) >>> and here is an example which DID happen to me...was in a foursome and on the first tee on the tenth hole of Kiawah...I sent my drive perfect (I was first off the Tee)!!! I walked to get me some coffee...and when I came back...I was on the screen like if we were just starting a 'new' round...with the 5 minute clock on a countdown...waiting for the one (who quit) to reconnect !! and after 5 minutes when he didn't rejoin...my screen became FROZEN in that state !!! When I went to the forum page it showed the remaining 3 players >>> and in that box, it said "Return To Game" !!! But I/we couldn't !!! now I had no choice (eventually) but to totally disconnect !!! Now I will get penalized for that !!! And that is unfair !!! I still say you want to stop quitters>>>forget about puting up % rates...but instead just penalize them a drop in their Number level !!! And forget about 5 minute rejoining time every time someone quits from a multiplayer game...keep it like it was/used to be !!! If they quit so long quitter(s)...but at least the remaining players are not in limbo (unless the person quit on their turn-then the game/round could be frozen) !! when I come on to play that may be the only time I get to play and usually it is my 1st round of the new golf day (and I may not have time to wait all of that time to continue a round to try to pick up on some 'valuable' 'xp points'...when my getting my bonus of continous days played is more important for grabbing xp points (880 to be exact)!!! SO WHY SHOULD I BE PENALIZED BOTH TIME AND A QUIT/DISCONNECTION PERCENTAGE RATE...because of some other quitters !!!

  Ya bother to read any of this thread before your rant?

  Everybody, and that includes you was started at 90 %, play a round and it will go up to 100%

  Man relax, you will do yourself an injury.

  Also if you dropped them a level (and like I have always said) that piece of equipment that goes with that level is placed in storage until they get back up to that level !!! EXAMPLE: >>> I just made it to level 90...and I just bought the R-11 Taylor Made Irons from level 90...and now I am playing in a multiplayer round/game.  And I decide to QUIT or DISCONNECT !!!  Then I should be dropped a level back to level 89...and since I can't buy the R-11 Taylor Made Irons at level 89...then I can't use them either until I get back up to level 90 !!! With this type of penalty (which I believe to NOT be unfair) I am willing to bet almost anything this is THE ONLY WAY TO KEEP PLAYERS FROM QUITTING AND DISCONNECTING ON A REGULAR BASIS !!!  >>> Think about it >>>hmmm?? A person could be a 'Legend' and on level 90 (but is always quitting or disconnecting when they have a bad shot...or bad hole or having a not so good round) disconnected from 20 multiplayer rounds...now they are still a 'Legend' but they are back down to level 70 !!! they STILL OWN ALL OF THE EQUIPMENT THAT THEY HAVE BOUGHT !!! BUT>>>THEY CAN ONLY USE THE EQUIPMENT THAT THEY HAVE ON HAND (in their inventory) that is below and up to level 70 !!! THEY STILL OWN THE R-11 IRONS...But they will not be able to use them until they get back up to level 90 !!! THEY STILL OWN THE LEVEL 77 NIKE METHOD PUTTER...But they will not be able to use it until they level back up to level 77 !!! THIS IS A SIMPLE FIX !!! AND IT IS TRULY THE ONLY WAY THAT WGT CAN REDUCE QUITTERS !!!

  ONLY QUITTERS WILL THINK THE PREVIOUS POST IS TOO HARSH OR UNFAIR !!! AND ANYONE WHO IS NOT A PERPETUAL QUITTER...WILL SEE THAT IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE !!! IT WILL NOT ONLY REDUCE QUITTING BUT FOR THOSE THAT LIKE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT 'SANDBAGGERS' THIS WILL SOMEWHAT RESOLVE 'SOME' OF THOSE ISSUES AS WELL!!! >> IF YOU ARE ON LEVEL 90 AND YOU ARE A TOUR MASTER LIKE ME (and this is just an example) and you just bought the R-11 Taylor Made Irons...but all you have left in your inventory is Starter Irons (because you sold off your other Irons everytime you bought new ones) and you get booted down one level FOR QUITTING to level 89...and thus you cannot use your R-11's (until you get back to level 90) you will either have to go back and buy some irons that can keep you playing like a TM or YOU WILL SIMPLY HAVE TO USE YOUR STARTER IRONS...So WGT will NOT lose money or players if they implement this type of penalty !!! NO ONE HAS TO LIKE IT >>> BUT (to me) IT IS 'FAIR' AND 'RIGHT' !!!

  Great idea the % But slightly unfair that your % drops in alternate shot when itsyour partner that dissonnects

  5 min time waiting is good. It takes my puter at least 4 mins to restart...lol  if needed.
