After playing three rounds of uneven lies.I found it to be fairly easy to figure out.I was for it as it is..IMO

I'm finding the same thing. I even thought WGT might have tweaked them on the run here as they seem to be making sense the more you play them.

Would you have any interest in playing in a mini Stater Clubs and Ball with Uneven lies  MP tourney of like only 16 players across 4 courses?  I'm just asking for general interest at this point. We're thinking RSG, St A, Oakmont then Olympic to play the finals. Tees adjusted for the clubs to play from as far away as possible to just reach the fairways. Pretty much a scrambling for your life  MP Tourney. ;-)

I would but with regular equipment. Starter stuff just makes it a luck fest.

I understand your not having the interest. It's very hard to get any Legend plus to want to play with the Starter gear.  As far as luck fest I have to disagree. I've invested a lot of time in re-learning the starters and they work a whole lot better than when I first joined. These clubs can do most anything that the best stuff can do except hold greens liked darts. Playing under par from as far away as possible with the uneven lies has proven to be possible as well. You just have to make every putt that's within reasonable distance.

I'm thinking about Challeging MrWGT to 18 holes on Olympic with the starter gear and ball with the uneven lies. Think the Boss will want to give it a go?   ;-)

The whole idea of uneven lies levels the playing field as well as make the game more realistic. Gimmicking it up with equipment changes is counterproductive. I don't think equipment is going to make as big a difference as it does on flat lies. The game becomes a legitimate challenge for everybody.

    Buggyyy:

Most of us can conclude that the Uneven Lies was a fail.

So was space flight initially...back in the early 60's. After a lot of improvements however, it's been a roaring success.

Hopefully uneven lies proves less hazardous, with less complexities and gets sorted in a shorter timescale.

I'm sure WGT will improve on their 1st attempt....it's not rocket science.

To quote the legendary Yancycan........ "It's all Beta"

I agree and I also think that You should nt be able to quit, when you realize that you re not going to score -5 or  whatever on ranked play. It wood be better if You´ll have to proceed the whole course.

I've only used the starter balls with my good clubs or the starter clubs and ball to test out the uneven lies.

Yesterday I played a friend on RSG from the white tees with all starter gear and it was fantastic. It was like watching Shell's Wonderful World of Golf from the 50's. The shots we had to hit were mostly Old Time Golf classic run up type shots. We both played out of our minds and struck some incredible shots just to make pars. We both did a pretty good job of adjusting to the side and up and down lies to get on the greens in reg. We also helped each other with club and aiming points through the chat box. Right now that was the most fun I've had here from day one.  As far as I'm concerned the uneven lies can be left as it is and introduced in all games right away.

I was actually playing a CTTH game the other day thinking I had enough ball life to finish and ran out on the last hole.  I hit a really good shot on it with the WGT white ball and went on to the next game, idiot that I am I forgot to change balls before the round.  Played a really good game, after the initial shock of the meter speed I find the balls are actually a little more consistent.  Kills you on a few shots that you have to stop but it becomes a lot of fun on CTTH.

Now going back to regular clubs and standard ball is another thing altogether.  If we could go back to slower greens and shorter holes maybe it would be such a shock but trying to play Olympic from the back tees on tournament green speed is a little too much for me.
