I'd like to have a practice area for chips , pitches etc.  I'm struggling wih the short pitches and don't wish to play the entire hole t get to wat I wsh to practice. Is there a driving range available on WGT that I'm unaware of ?  If not can WGTmake one ?

No practice range or putting green. I doubt there ever will be either.

That's very unfortunate too.  Practice mode on the course is lame without an option to repeat a shot.  WGT could learn alot from Links, which had mulligans, practice areas and you could draw and fade shots.  And that game was out a dozen years ago!

Build a practice area and charge credits for a bucket of balls.  Surely it can't be so hard.

    nothing to add!

Practice should be acquired on range and putting and pitching-greens, as well as a little warming up before a round.

With fade and draw, some holes could be played more exciting and perhaps effectivly?!

Even the smallest Club has a driving-range aso.  ;-)

I have personally emailed WGTIcon about such a thing not a month ago and his response was that he has been asked for the same thing 50 times or more. There isn't nor will there ever be such a thing on WGT that you can get the same practice playing practice rounds. Unfortunately I believe he is wrong and I agree with you I think i would improve the game and help the players get more aquainted with the use of their clubs and make better golfers on the site in general. Happy Driving everyone

I dont think there will be one, because of lost revenue. As long as we play the courses, then there is ball usage. Players would complain, that this area should be exempt, which it should. So there you are. W.G.T. , is not going to give us anything that is going to cut into the revenue. I suggest playing from shorter tees in practice mode, and use the free balls. This will reduce ball usage for you, and sales for them. Then maybe if we start hitting them in their pockets, some changes may be made. Its just a thought.

Build a range with short game areas and charge credits for a bucket of balls!  Another source of revenue!  You need to be able to repeat shots to learn how the ball reacts.  One shot in practice mode is useless.

I agree a practice range is needed.  A lot of players would pay for a bucket of balls, even the pro's warm up at the range before teeing off.

It's all about the money; and rightfully so; but if the general population is willing to pay for these attributes.......you'd be freakin' crazy to ignore it!!! True; you CAN "practise" in a round, by yourself; BUT!!!....what if I wanted to try a club, or a wedge, or a putter, or even a ball BEFORE I bought it???

Think about it! You PAY to rent the club; you PAY to practise on the green/fringe/fairway. Are you freakin' NUTS?? This is a CASH-COW morons!!!! Get with the program!!!! LOL
