To helpfully address my thoughts on some of this:
PGA Tour, Like Links Golf, Like TW golf as you mentioned are loaded or downloaded games and run off the speed of ones hard drive with internet connection through Port Forwarding which still had some down side to online playing. Browser ran games are completely different and can be more subject to outlying influences from both your system and what browser your are running.
I believe that these meter issues are not all due to WGT.
I believe it has more to do with internet connection. The more players in one game at the same time affects the way the meter is smoother or not.
The only thing internet connections remotely might have to do with ones meter is a possible service interruption in the middle of a swing. What happens with ones swing meter is dependent on ones system and what one is running both hardware and software. From my research and experience of tracking my meter, the three biggest culprits of meter stutters are ones video card transfer rates, CPU load and monitor refresh rate.
You can say it is speculation, but if you like say on alternate your playing 3 other players in the game, and two out of four are with 1.5 meg connection, and the others are on 40 meg connection. The ones on 40 meg, even if they have a better connection are still affected by the lower connection.
The only effect it would have is on the lower speeds load time or internet interruptions causing disconnections.
There is also the servers too. If the servers are being pretty much close to full the game will not run as smoothly either.
Gray area here as it simply is a matter of what one is considering overloaded servers are effecting. Granted I do agree during heavier usage times there is the need for additional servers as there seems to be more disconnects or game screen freezes and the like but they don't effect my meter.
I not trying to be on one side or the other. I am just saying it is a combination of both sides that cause this issue, and usually it is both trying to get away of not doing something to fix the problem.
So with this statement one might question if you are working on doing your part, A better part of us feel WGT is. Not everything is going to run smoothly 100% of the time some and there is always going to be some kind of bugs or whatnot come up that will frustrate the crap out of one. How a person handles it is up to them
Not saying everyone is a liar, but the majority of this world is.
Ones expressed outlook of others can be a reflection of ones own character or their perspective of life for others to perceive.
If you can get both sides to work together, then things will work better, and less complaining in the forum.
Very well said, remember this as you go to post your own thoughts and reflect back on this statement.
