Why is it that I can no longer gift an item if I already own it?
It didnt used to be this way
And when did it change?
That is a weird one Tailwind . . . that message came up once when I tried to gift some max balls from the pro shop which I have in my inventory.
I tried again the next day and it let me do it . . . must be a wee bug . .
Since when can we gift from our own inventory?
You've never been able to gift from your inventory, and I doubt you ever will.

What the OP and I have found is that a message came up saying we couldn't gift an item from the pro shop because we already owned it.

I've read it quite a few times thanks . . . hopefully Tailwind will come back and clarify . .
From the pro shop, it has never been possible to gift from inventory, but it used to be possible to gift an item even if you owned it in your inventory. Seems that has changed
