    Nothing gets won in July there, David. They never lost first place. In fact, they have been playing playoff baseball for over a month to keep it. You saw how the O's took it too them. LOL. Everybody was doing that to them in August and September. They just happened to pick the wrong time to go to sleep.

    AFlop and Swisher are on the bench tonight, Gardner's leading off and Nunez is at SS. Should be fun. No pressure when you're expected to lose.  :-)

    So so performance by Verlander but Phil Coke comes though in the 9th.  Coke... no Pepsi!  Tigers 3 Yankees 0.

    Heh-This typifies the difference between class and a rabid fan. There's no whining going on here, David. Shame on you for thinking there is. Take your wins with a sip of class. You fell into the playoffs and now have a stanglehold on them now. Cheer for your Tigers and take a pass on the lunacy.

    Yeah, didn't have good command of his fastball.  If he had, he would have had 10-12 strikeouts instead of 3.  (Ron Darling said as much) Still dominated tho.  Dave Dombrowski is looking like a genius today.  Avaisail Garcia anyone?

    Don't forget that in the post season you aren't going to score as many runs.  Going against the best pitchers.  You can bet that CC is going to be on his game tonight.  One run might win it.
