So what actually has to happen.  Score history only shows that last 200 ranked rounds.  I have counted since the TL has been added, and I have over 100 ranked stroke play rounds since then.

I keep hearing about this 500 ranked rounds thing, but how do you know when you have 500 ranked rounds as a legend.

I currently have 1114 ranked rounds.  Not sure how I can check to see how many are on each specific tier.

Unless you keep a log of your own stats, there is no precise way of knowing when you've played 500 ranked rounds.

When the average stops going up,  then you've played 500.

Well there you go, You have over the required 500, so when you reach legend you need an extra 100 rounds with your average under 60.  SO basically If you are now a legend and your average is 59, then as long as after your next 100 rounds you still have 59 average you will move up.  You dont need to shoot 100 x 59's or lower, you can score 64's as long as you are under 60 with average after 100 rounds.

But looking at your average its 66, so you need to get yours down to under 60, it might take you 70 rounds to do this, it might take you 170, but as long as you reach under 59 you will turn tour legend.

is it 500 total ranked rounds, or 500 as a legend.  I have shoot my 100 ranked rounds since the addition, and I tested it out to see if it still increases and it does.

I shoot a 29 and it only lowers my average 0.04 strokes.  BTW, my average is currently 66.94.  Took around 100 ranked rounds of 4 under par or better for 9 holes to lower my average around 0.5 strokes.

chrisirons I dont think its total played rounds... I think its within that tier, eg. 500 rounds as a legend...

I may be wrong, but I think thats correct

No you could have played 500 rounds as a pro, but as long as you have 500 rounds under your belt i dont think it matters.  All thats important is when you are a legend, you need an extra 100 rounds and your average below 60

As I think I said elsewhere we don't actually know yet as no-one who reached legend after the changes has made it to tour legend.

The common saying is min 500 Legend rounds and an average of 60.00 max.

I think those can tell who were Legends below the 400 # then and now have seen their ave. saturate.

It does. As a new Legend the average will fluctuate until you get 500 rounds in as a Legend at which time it will only go down.

I'm uncertain about this.   I have 524 rounds as Legend and within the last 10 or so rounds,  my average has moved both up and down.

It wasn't more than .01 in either direction though.

I will try to sneak in a bad round today at work and post my results. lol

Current average- 66.19   will go post an above par score and see what happens.
