I must say I enjoyed the new pin locations.  Made a couple of bad decisions on approaches, gambled, ooops!  My round could have bin alot better, but I enjoyed it.

Yes Mister Lee, enjoy your trip, well deserved win.

i was going to say the same thing all i need is Avatar to shoot 68 and I shoot 58.  Wow, sounds stupid already.  Great round Avatar, and all the best in round 2!

Just noticed there is a button on the leader board for a practice round but when i click on it it says there is a problem. i never noticed it before the torny started, or didn't look.

Was a practice round available prior to teeoff.

Wow, I never noticed the practice option either. Getting "unexpected error" also though. It would be really nice to have!

Well into the 2nd round now.  AvatarLee has to be the favourite after that first round 58, but i wouldn't be counting out Legend999 or BollixInBrugues who are just 2 shots back, hesomist and MacGillicuddy still have a genuine chance at 3 shots back, and you can't rule out the 5 guys on 62 either.

Just looked at the first few scores coming in for the second round, and it looks like the winds must have been much higher...

The winds are  def up, taking a break from my round because I have the BS of all BS winds so far.  Hole 1 down wind, every hole from there on out except for the 2 par 3's are into the face.  Like I need a 30mph downwind on a 161 par 3, cant even get it remotely close.  tried to land one on 8 in the walking path, but landed on a knoll and got 221yds out of a 6 iron.  sucks

30mph into the wind on 17, fun, cant even reach the fairway offf the tee.  If I was in contention I would be pissed.  Finally get it on the green in 4 shots and drain a 32 ft putt breaking about 5ft.

I had winds at 24-30 mph all around. I had a headwind on just about every hole, including the par 5 on the back (14) that I needed 4 shots to get on. Nonetheless, I went out in 29 and came back in 35 for a 64. If only I had played a little better in the first round :)

If you get a few tailwinds (I had one on 18) like on 6, 9, 10 ,and 12 I think one of the greats will shoot something like 59 or 60 to win. It's doable. Good luck to those in contention, and enjoy the trip, whoever wins!
