Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the break right at the hole, back pin, has taken a Cabo style sharp break recently?

Admittedly I don't play St Andrews often but I cannot recall such a sharp break being there before. Either I am going senile or something has changed...

As one old guy to another.......go with senile. LOL

Maybe you recall the break from Legend Tournament greens and now are on Champ greens.  Here's a similar putt of mine on Legend Tournament greens.

I allowed for a Caboesque break and missed it high.

btw Tiffer, . SM is alive and well enjoying his hiatus.

Hi Andyson, nice to get a word with you as you sit, quite rightly, at the right hand of the WGT gods in cyberspace :)

I am inclined to go with senile myself but when a player of Wontonamo's ability has the same thoughts, perhaps I might be right here!

The putt I have posted was on Tournament green speed, although your point re Champ is a valid one in general.

SM.....what a man. I miss our previous frequent conversations. Give him my regards if you get to him before I do.

I had a similar putt and it did the same thing on this hole.  I had never seen it break like that before, and the moving dots didn't indicate that it would.  I played it 3 times in a CC tournament and it did that in 2 out of 3 of the putts I had.  the putt reminded me of 13 on Olympic if one happened to be in the wrong place on the green.
