I see you basically play Blitz and a few MP games and only 6 ranked rounds. I would suggest you play more rounds before you complain. You could not be bored with the courses playing as little as you do.

And I must be cynical in my old age as you infer you have been playing longer than March 2012 so I hope you closed your old account before this one.

Does anyone have good info as to why there are so many courses unavailable to play on?I would love to be able to play stroke on Pebble for example(as would many I believe.  :)

Yes you are right, many would love to play stroke play on Pebble Beach and hundreds of other courses. However the process of attaining rights to use them, the thousands of photos required and then turning them into a course that can be played is an extensive process not to mention the expediture required.

The CTTH courses only had several hundred photos taken so cannot be mapped for stroke play.

    Dollars and time.

In a video they made that is on YouTube showing them doing the work to make the course photos, WGT says it takes 6 months worth of planning for each new course, but didn't say how long the post production took.

In addition to their production costs WGT pays some amount of $$$$$'s to make and license the use of the images made of each course.

There is only 1 course that is shown on WGT that is unavailable to play and that is Pebble Beach. The other courses that are CTTH only were photographed for CTTH only. Pebble I believe is a rights issue. Hopefully that will be resolved by the time Pebble hosts the U.S. Open again but WGT couldn't get it for the U.S. Open in 2010. So we just have to hope.
