lkennedy: Not sure what's going on. Have a good WGT bud who's been at 60.01 for 2 days. He shot 13 under over two 9 hole rounds and stayed at 60.01.
I'm sorry, more questions than answers from your question...
Franky, this is the most unprecise way I've ever seen to name scores with respect of the average.
"xy under" means nothing because only the gross score counts. "xy under" on which course, which half? -7 may be a 27 on OLY or a 29 on KIA. Doubled for average, this results in a 4 stroke difference!
-13 over two rounds is an even bigger riddle. How is it partitioned? -6 / -7 or -15 / +2 ?
Next question, how many Legend rounds has this guy played? More than 500? What scores are in the mix?
If less rounds, how many?
Which is his precise average, giving three decimal digits?
Then, do some math. Close to saturation, almost 500 rounds make up the average. Dropping one shot modifies the average by 1/500 = .002. It takes 3/500 to be safe to see it in a two digit display.
And don't be upset when his average will show 60.00 and he doesn't move.
- It may be 60.004,
- he may be missing some of the 500 rounds.
