Probably have to write directly to HQ to get an answer but I don't think you can.

Not sure if possible how right it is etc or what WGT think about it.

But could always give someone your logon details make sure your card details if entered etc are gone and change the email address.

Or you could do what others have done sell your equipment and then that person you was going to give your profile to just gift them equipment with the credits you got from the sales.

This is a real head scratcher. Give away one's profile?

The OP has a fantastic playing record, places extremely well in RG's and wins Match Play games. I can't see what the problem could be to make one want to quit and walk away other than being bored with success.  I suppose this is a complaint about technical issues but there has to have been some smooth meter games in there somewhere to score so well and so consistently.

Possibly take a break from the game but don't quit. Frankly your record shows you're one of the better players here.

I'm sure things could be done to improve your meter. I hardly ever have a problem with mine.

    Just a wild thought ...

Anyone with meter problems ever tried to run his browser in a different compatibility mode ? (Of course, after clearing cache, trying all the browsers and all that)

If I understand things correctly people using windows xp have less problems than people using windows 7, so I would give this compatibility mode a try or two, if I was using windows 7 and was experiencing problems. (Still a happy xp user here though).

See here for a "how to", or google some results of your own.

Anyway, lots of wisdom in making the decision that's right for you.

    R.

Sometimes people forget it's just an internet game, but because it's so well constructed and stuctured with forums and friends and interactions, you get sortha  obsessed with it all.And when you come to the realisation that you are too caught up in this game, you say to yourself "what am I doing"spending hours  in front of a screen with a mouse in my hand, making birdies after birdies, shooting 28's and 29's most of the time(not me),well maybe you just get bored. There's got to be more to it then meter problems. So leaving this game should not be so dramatic, you move on to other things. When you've got an addiction like boose or drugs there are therapies like AA.Some people can't stop watching porn.Maybe WGT should have a forum specialy for wgt players who are sick of this game but can't let it go.

Just a thought, let's hear from people who are in that situation,I myself wrote a post "bored"about a month ago,But I continue playing, doing surveys and watching videos, bought some new clubs, joined a CC; but I've lost that thrill I had at the beginning, going up in tier and shooting good scores. How about you?

Rock...The link you provided is for running older or obsolete  programs in compatibility mode for windows Vista, 7 or now 8...It isn't for browsers.
