I know everyone's only supposed to name 1, so these aren't for the contest. I just wanted to share 3 more that mean something to me. I promise to stop now ;-)

Panama by Van Halen has been a fave of mine since the 80's.

All this talk of music, I can see myself listening to the Doors today.

    MizzyMan:

Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton

Tragic story. The song always gives me chills.

Sends a shiver down my spine too, would've been a winner but Santa called yesterday I believe. :)

Hard to seperate the 'Floyd' tunes but went with..

Lisa's "Wish you were here"..probably the one I listen to most next to 'Mother'.

Alanti, Two great choices of  'Hallelujah' and 'Stairway to Heaven'.

Jeffc for 2Pacs 'Keep ya head up', 'Life goes on' or 'Ghetto Gospel', would've won too. RIP

1st three  winners, sleeves 'en route'.

I have an extensive music collection, from reel to reel, 45's, lp's, 8 tracks, cassettes, and cd's. My music covers about anything you can think of. I listen to my 50's and 60's most of the time on my Sirius while I'm on WGT. Looking back at 2012, the ones we have lost, and the ones who have lost their health, I have one song I would like to dedicate to all. The song is titled Live Like You Were Dying.

    Coyote37:

I would say my favorite would have to be Free Bird by the 1 & only Lynard Skynard

That's a winner too, if only for the live version on 'The old grey whistle test' at the BBC in 1975 -- Tune--

Very tough to distinguish my favorite, so I'll have to post 2 of them:

    1. Time-  Pink Floyd

    2. Yellow Submarine- The Beatles.

    Fun contest, and very generous!

Jimmy Hendrix  , The wind cries Mary ,    I had a girl friend named Mary many years ago that got hooked on drugs ,  We broke up over that , I found out some time latter she died from a OD  ,,  Every time I hear that tune I can see her face in my mind,s eye .

I just wish i could go back and have helped her.
