    jmitsinthehole:

Hey 21-  Played a round with your earlier.  Just wanted to know if you knew why my average went from a 72.5 to an 80.5 in one round?  Just curious…still have Pro level.

hey JMIT, i have no idea about that. today is my 30th day at wgt, and dont know much about any kind of counting points. At my 10th day or so, i was go up to Pro tier (cant remember  how i deserve that). my AVpoints r around 80 or less. i dont care much about scores and lists. most of time im introduced into playing techniques and strategy. i enjoying all the time and sometimes play with others not just for victory, just for fun and nice talking.

that what u said is something unusual. i was lose my team or single matches few times in last week,( at Christmas eve and day i think i lose my every match, i just play and enjoy in good feeling atmosphere) but cant see any change at my AV points. My AV is 74.2, i think 3-4 days without any change.

if anyone here can explain this JMITS case, please reply here.

now, i will go to test that R11 S driver (TeeWade gave me one at Xmas day)

jmits, will see if  any1 post something here

i was just back from a stroke 9-hole play.

man, that R11S driver is so powerful. gave me (depends on wind conditions and downhill elevation) 30-50 yards more then my starter driver. that improve me to get into green in second or third shot (4/5 par hole), then i have 2 shots with putter (for par or birdie). this driver gave me exactly more distance to have better position for next shot (whats was impossible, sometimes, with my old driver). but, yes, when i start to use R11S, i was eat so much roughs, weeds, trees... dead chickens?)... till i learned to control this beauty beast. after awhile time i have my new longest shot (285y), better final score at course 9hole for 2-3 points.

if i will have luck, maybe i get few credits at some free tournament ( i read somewhere- you can earn few credits if was been good enough till end of month- anyway, i play some courses for pleasure and that will be nice if can grow up credit account. i still watching videos (no luck with surveys) and now planing to buy better wood/iron club. also, if i will have a luck with tournament credits using this gifted driver, i will try to help to some1 else.   )

for now, i will invite 'ricky48' to play match tonight (he suggest me that, let see TourPro driver in the action, which cost 250 crs.) all of you which collecting credits to improve you driver, will can read here info about this driver when i'll comeback (in/out suggestions). i think this will be good idea cause i play with starter driver just b4 two days and can see precise difference between them.

It's obvious that the driver you received as a gift is 10 times better then mine,I simply tried to help you because you did'nt have many credits and I tought my driver would be affordable to you and give you extra distance.I sent an invitation  to play with you but you declined my invitation.

I don't understand why you would send me an invit to play just to decline.Anyway I wish you good luck with the driver and if you still want to play me(even though I don't quite understand why),make a friend invit and I will accept, then we'll play a match.

info about TourPro driver vs my  starter (basic) driver (225 yards).............. (stroke play with 'ricky48' at bathpage course, after some problems with wgt opening screen, crashes and some my wrong clicks when invite). thanks to ricky48 for his time and patience.

in that game focus only to see what TourPro driver can do more then mine. yes, you can read at ProShop info (245 yards distance, 250 credits, ...). when we play, TourPro driver always have 15-25 yards more then mine starter, sometimes less. ricky48 most of time dropped balls on fairway with good position to next shot (usually better then mine). i know, that depends of player knowledge and experience, but he dont make mistakes. slow meter give you precise hit.i will try to find more info about 'feel' when play.

let see. if you can earn 75 credits after 100 videos, u can buy this TourPro driver after approx 7 weeks ( 7 videos per day; 2 weeks for 75cr)

next: info about LX5 driver (230 yards, 200 credits)

and, please, if you just replace your basic driver with on of this: TourPro, LX5 and other under 600 credits, be free to post here information about difference when play (in your firsts days after change)

i dont know much about that (i still havent much credits for gifts), but if an player want to give any thing to some1 else - must do that at ProShop, buy and then send to other. im not sure if there is any other option. some1 of wgt forum moderators can say more, if read this post.

It's not only length and meter speed! Those Starter clubs lack shot precision and forgiveness. That is, the average of perfect shots will cover a wider area, and player's mistakes will result in worse misses. The Starter balls add to that.

yes, allosso. your generalized answer is correct. but ill try to collect more infos about cheap drivers as i can, by playing with others and talking with m. after that i will create new topic with all infos arranged by the drivers (under 600 credits). players, like me, who have no opportunity to earn credits except watching that 'liver gamer' videos, must wait so long time to buy some with worth (this is not story about money, we can have different point of view about game playing and about all other around that - experience, friendship, sport spirit, worth of hard way  ...). people in community will help me, i hope. also, thank you  for your post. (i know, my english  is so bad, but someone at my home will help me)

SwingingRoofer, you can read some info at FAQ page under ProShop

No prob mate, I get you well.

Just an idea for your valuable task: There are some cheap drivers in the "Woods" section. Take a good 3WD, it will shoot further than the Starter driver, and the player will have a second shot with it on long fairways. Their costs are about 30% of the corresponding driver's price.
