How often do you "DING"

Am starting a survey to see how often you "ding" your shots. I am presently using the Ping Raptures and am hoping to upgrade to the G20's when I reach that level and get enough credits...my main concern is the faster meter and reduced forgiveness.

I am going to record my next game and how often I get the ping on my drives, irons and putts but my guess would be 2/9 drives, 3/15 irons, 2/9 putts.

Just curious to see what others are hitting and what clubs you're using.

OK so today I played the Royal St George tournament and here are my stats

Drives - 5 dings/18

Irons - 4 dings/14

Putts - 11 dings/18

I don't ding often enough to record it.

I ding maybe 60% of the time that I WANT to ding.

I often miss the ding to combat the wind or into the wind to go around a corner.

Putting i only look for the ding on very short putts.

Some days 80-90% of time, others less than 50% but within 2mm 90+% of the time.

90%+ dings on putts to, but I'm trying to......Andy

This would be a really good stat for WGT to keep for us in the stats section. You could have one for tee shots, one for second shots, one for short game, one for putting....etc. The correlation between dinging and good play would make for interesting reading.

5-6 times avg per 9 holes, not including putts. But, I'm rarely very far off the thing.

each and every shot is individual. i sometimes hit before or after the ding intentionally considering wind and or anticipated roll. is this the right thing to do ? don't know. try to find what works best for you. they call it a game of a lifetime for a reason !! just have fun !!
