    Very good idea Ren!

We kinda do similar things in our club.

We have a standing MASTERS AWARD, any new master gets a sleeve of balls and their name in the Masters Wall.
We often run tourneys for Pros & Below for gift shop prizes.

    alanti:
    What players need are incentives

And that's why our club does this, it retains the lower tier members and help them develop with the club and a stronger bond is created when they in the higher tiers and ultimately loyalty is formed.

WGT has no incentives IMO. The small credits they give out to reach amateur / pro etc at that level is very disheartening, when you realise there is nothing you can buy with 100credits that will help your game.

They see other players all around them with better gear and when they look into how much they need to spend to get these items, compared the the WGT rewards and frustrations in the Surveys area...

    They leave...

IMO, if you nurture the young, they will spend at maturity when they are 'addicted'.

    Everyone else does this.
