And they're off! Phil (Phaxda) and Tim (TeeWade) have found each other... which means we're now just waiting on their score and word from Mati and Mizzy (who I think played earlier today... at least they were both busy and with starters some hours back, but nothing's been submitted). We need your scores!

So, with the 2nd Round drawing to a close... I'll post our 3rd Round groupings here very shortly.

Oh, and anyone want to practice a 9 at Olympic now (or in the next hour or so)?

    Corwyn:
I will make groups of players close to each other on the leaderboard, and then let you arrange to play your 3rd Round with anyone within your grouping with similar time availability.

OK, here's an updated list of the 3rd Round groupings (including some guesses for players with last-minute 2nd rounds):

    1st Group will include: Hanswurst72  //  unclenewy (Neil) //  Corwyn  //  CerinoDevoti  //  [MizzyMan]
[Based on time overlaps for everyone, I'm going to suggest these pairings: Hans & Cerino;  Neil & Corwyn; with Mizzy to play with marker, any one of the other 4 in the group. EDIT: Neil & Corwyn's times don't overlap well after all, so changes in the works... now it will be: Hans & Corwyn ;   and Neil & Cerino]

2nd Group will includeJimbean346 (James)  //  PUHOLINO (Jure)  //  bhoese (Ben) //  MBaggese  (Mike)
[James & Jure have good time overlap; and so do Ben and Mike

3rd Group will includeColumbusStorm (Russ) //  seemorehair (Tom) //  iMikeAllStar  //  joewaters
[to save Tom and Mike playing again together, I suggest Tom & Joe; and Mike & Russ.  EDIT: it will have to be Tom (seemorehair) & Mike (iMikeAllStar); and Joe (joewaters) & Russ (ColumbusStorm)]

    4th Group will includealosso (Paul)  //  woodoworkery  //  johehejo (Jorg) //  bfghd  //  Macduff10  //  Wassernixe  (Herbert)
[bfghd & woodo have made plans already; Paul & Mac have good time overlap; and Jorg & Herbert have good times too]

    5th Group will includebrhthecarpenter (Reese) //  Daboofness  //   mnshiner  //  hyena64 (David) //  Camotto  //  FairwayRuepel68  //  SPINO1  (Stu)  //  [Phaxda] (Phil)  //  [TeeWade]  (Tim)  //  [MatildaIgaly]
[many permutations are possible here, but I've tried to make things work for those that don't have the screenshot skills, half of this group. Thus I'm suggesting the following pairs: Tim & Reese; Cam & Daboofness; Stu & Phil; David & Shiner; Mati & FairwayRuepel

Note that we're down to an odd number of players at this point, so one of the groups, the top one, has 5 players in it (but all are players who've indicated they can mark for others).

Use the suggestions and links in this opening page post to find a suitable playing partner from within your grouping (or, only if necessary, from an adjacent grouping), and schedule a time together.

Here is a special new Time Availability Tab with players organized into their Groupings (and suggested playing partner in adjacent field to player name).

[Note: I'll also copy all this info into the Opening Page pairings post]

Mati and I played our round earlier today. Mati played wonderfully, but for me it was quite horrible. After missing a 9ft eagle and 2.5ft bird on the front 9 I wanted to rage withdraw like a RG ... I never got my head back in the game and I forgot to take a screenshot of the last card so I hope Mati got them. Here is what I have.

Ah, Tim and I had a fun round. Felt like we had some horrible wind luck and my putter was terrible again but my score was better. Just going to plug the scorecards in and fill out the report quick then bed. Let me know if I missed anything.

It all looks good, Phil. I'm so glad you and Tim made it work.

I'll update the Leaderboard in the morning, with your 2 scores, and hopefully all of Mizzy and Mati's info too.

    Thanks everyone!

Sorry to hear it was so rough for you Mizzy! I know the feeling when great opportunities slip by, it's so hard to keep at it for the rest of the round.

Please post what you've got as soon as you can. I'd love to finalize the Leaderboard asap.

Hans, it looks like you really dodged a bullet this round! None of your challengers was able to close the gap by much! And so, on to Olympic...

[Please note: 3rd Round pairing info above, and on opening page]

HUUUUUUGE PROPS to Corwyn and anyone else involved in keeping this tournament running and on track.

WTG Corwyn. You are doing an outstanding job. I truly dont think there are too many others in the community who would go to a "degree of detail"  than you have with this tournament. Just giving credit where credit is due.
