  Renniw52 and 2damflasy have absolutely given the best answers.  Surround yourself with classy guys like they are and you can't go wrong.  Adopt their attitude and you will enjoy the game for a long time.

  Winning depends on your goal. You're allowed to choose whatever goal you would like, of course, but I also think folks like renniw52 and 2DAMNFLASHY have appropriate goals for this game - have fun and make friends :)
