  Ye Gods...... I'll bet the ' Pizza Man and Icon' were dreading today ! To be fair, they do their best to stay in touch with the community and usually try to see things from both angles. They will both have been aware that this custom avatar was something of great interest to the vast majority of us and now WGT have set their stall out, ( or set it on fire ) I'll bet they can't wait for this to die down and get back to answering complaints and rants about dodgy meters, disconnections and VEM ( whatever that is ! )

  50,000, 500,000 credits..... it really doesn't matter one jot as 99% of us on here, can only dream about having those kind of resources to invest on this site. What really frightens me is that there is at least one person at WGT, who is so out of touch with his/her customers, that they thought this was a good idea and one we would be interested in ! Either that or it's a sign of things to come ?

  This person should be taken outside and 'dealt with' !

  I've tried clearing my cache, but it still comes up with 500,000 credits, so it must be a fault at my end !

  ^^^, That's what so baffling, surely Icon as a proper player and Pizza coming through the ranks would have recognized the backlash about to ensue BUT it seems not....

  Do WGT listen to us Players / Customers OR their staff ?

  It seems not, regretfully.....

  We all know you cant really make money on this site, but obtaining a gift card after years of playing, spending $ on balls, clubs etc etc, at least most of us felt we could get a little bit back.  How many other players played ready go's at ANY PRICE at same time donating $ to WGT's coffers. To say it would be no loss to WGT is laughable as the ones with loads of credits are the ones who rush out without thought to buy the latest item, does a new player do this???

  Swapping the gift cards for personal avatrs is just an insult to the community, and i bet I'm not the only one.  Defend WGT all you like, maybe take time out to un-brainwash yourself

  Firstly, I was expressing my opinion as to them not being any loss, it was not an economic assessment of their departure on WGT's business model.

  Secondly I am not defending WGT, I have already said this is nothing more than an over priced gimmick. My point is you're a fool to expect anything different given the crap people pay over the odds for on here, myself included.

  It really is dead straight forward.....accept you're going to get shafted on the balls, clubs, avatars, golf bags ffs etc or take a hike and don't come back instead of issuing idle threats to do so. It's not as if this type of release hasn't been seen many times before....

  I bet WGT will come on here and explain it away as a typo..!     :-)

  It should have read:

  Golf Bag                    3000 cr

  Avatar                         5000 cr

  Ph call to MrWGT     1000 cr 

  Looks a bit more reasonable to me & a lot of people would BUY (or earn) credits to purchase these lovely items and then phone MrWGT to thank him.....

  Seems like I'd get bored after 10 minutes talkin on the phone with Chad. Nice guy and all but c'mon, unless he's into booze & girls or growin weed, what the hell would we talk about for an hour? lol

  Have not checked what exactly the updates are, but it seems like most people are positive. WTG WGT!
