The ARROGANCE to think people would spend $1000 worth of credits to speak to Mr WGT.  I'm sure if people DID phone him, there wouldn't be that much kind words said.  I bet it would be US who paid for the call.  Any one know how much it would be to call USA from UK for an hour??????

Here's what the fuss is all about...

There are legitimate issues with the game - problems that have existed since at least the time that I've been a member, and from what I've read, since the game was released. There are new issues popping up daily, and yet, instead of taking the development time to address all of these issues, or maybe fix a few here & there, they instead create a $5,000 customizable virtual avatar.

There are skewed priorities, and then there's this.

    Really? Such as?

I think the biggest priority for WGT right now is getting Merion ready for launch. When it is launched all of this will soon be forgotten......

Well,I'm sure the pro who wins it can enjoy his free holiday because I'm sure the big hitters will have finally left for good now credits are worthless

Well good riddance to them should they decide to do so. If your sole motivation in playing this game is to make money then you're no loss to the WGT community. Added to that, they'd be far better spending their time on something more profitable....

Just out of curiosity, are the new line of imaginary Max clubs (irons, putters, and now wedges) being introduced because wgt has lost its contracts to reproduce real clubs?

No. they brought the new Rocket Bladez irons the last update, And I believe they brought out the G20's after they had brought out some of the max line.

All big earners could just start giving sleeves and clubs and stuff to anyone as a form of protest. Bye bye income

No but what might work for them for all or at least most of them to complain about the removal of the gift cards. That worked about 2 years ago when WGT changed the Ready-Go payouts to top heavy.

We all know you cant really make money on this site, but obtaining a gift card after years of playing, spending $$ on balls, clubs etc etc, at least most of us felt we could get a little bit back.  How many other players played ready go's at ANY PRICE at same time donating $$ to WGT's coffers. To say it would be no loss to WGT is laughable as the ones with loads of credits are the ones who rush out without thought to buy the latest item, does a new player do this???

Swapping the gift cards for personal avatrs is just an insult to the community, and i bet I'm not the only one.  Defend WGT all you like, maybe take time out to un-brainwash yourself.

i might go and buy some clubs and spend the time I used to on here playing all the top courses here in UK.  (THANKS LOTTO!!!)

Spanish company quoting 0.012 euros per min to a land line...

Makes you wonder if MrWGT would accept a call from a disgruntled customer...OR would we have to have our questions approved beforehand ?

Would it be on Twitch ?

    Would anyone watch ?

Would anyone care ?... is sadly the most important question...

Love the site WGT, but C'mon, some innovation is badly needed and if (as it seems) the present ppl in charge of the 'New Ideas' have been there too long to come up with viable and exciting projects THEN get some 'New Blood' in.....?

Probably all based on a computer 'model' which will obviously NOT take into account the 'Human Factor'....WE are NOT machines !!

You have to loosen the purse strings once in a while and give us living, breathing creatures something to hold on to surely ?

    Andy
