nice smooth mtr yeah, but don't like the game play format of it .. one gets defaulted to the WGT full screen mode which sucks .. it's not crispy clear and not proper full screen mode like i use on Max3 .. not for me

but then, i'm playin' less & less anyhow, especially since going through this thread ..

no big loss .. i'm just one small pi$$ed off fishy in the sea .. i will eventually disappear unnoticed .. i won't willingly keep on swimming in shark infested waters ..

spend lotsa $ here WGT .. i bet u won't read this post .. or respond to it .. u already got my $, right ?

focus on the smile on my face ya hear ? :)    .!.

I didn't notice the meter being any more or less smooth than normal...might be a function of one's location, time of day, any number of variables.

One of those variables: Human Perception.

There is no technological reason for the performance to be any different on the Golf Channel website.

Right Pizza, and you can tell its my perception, yes? You can see through my eyes? I know the difference between a meter running without any hitches, and 1 that skips and freezes like a pig. Ive played it 3 times now on there, and each time its been flawless.

Are you serious? One of many things that affects the meter is ads, Flash ads. There is a zillion of them on the Golf Channel website. That means that the meter can be worse.
Another thing is that it is not possible to do a proper full screen on some browsers which leaves you with a non scaled window. That means the meter is likely to be smoother.

Are WGT really, still, so completely in the dark of what affects the meter? No wonder nothing is done to fix it!

Play occurs within the main web page. There's a leaderboard at the top that rolls vertically. Distracting as all get out

Start the game there, close the window down,  then open your game client in WGT, it will allow you to continue or forfeit.

Very. I'll say it again: There is no technological reason for the performance to be any different on the Golf Channel website.

If you are noticing a difference, it is not because you are playing the game through the Golf Channel website.

More information from WGT you can choose to believe, or not.

I agree with Pizza about the meter.  At TGC it was no different from the way it is here (for me)...even stuttered on a few of the shots, no surprise there.

The location of the game client shouldn't make a difference, I would think.
