Well, I noticed that Congressional and Oakmont load much faster nowadays.  I found myself skipping those courses lately because of that fact.  So cheers to WGT for fixing that.  Now, back to more noise regarding gift cards.  LOL.

69 pages in this thread with 680 posts.

how many people who've posted in this thread have bought gift cards in the past or were on the verge of being able to buy one. without trawling through all the posts collecting player's names who fall into this bracket, i'll take a quick stab and say it's no more than 8........so where are all the others, surely there are more and why haven't they bothered having any input to this thread. ?

the way i see it is this...

folks sitting on a lot of credits just now don't see anything in the elite section that takes their fancy.....but in the coming weeks or months there may be some new arrivals into the elite section that will be of interest to them.

ok the gift cards are gone.....and yes many folks got upset....but the vast majority of whom in all probability would never have been in a position to cash out on a gift card anyway.

basically to the few folks who are sitting on a mountain of credits, you now see yourself sitting on a credit note to the value of xyz amount of credits.

surely there will be new additions to the elite section over the coming weeks / months that might take your fancy...if not just go down the black market route of cashing them out.

or spend $8400 on this classic Damier Geante Golf Bag by Louis Vuitton which is the world’s most expensive golf bag. The bag is named after the canvas used in its creation and it features a zip-up hood, a number of pockets, a rolling travel cover, a golf towel ring and even an umbrella to come handy in case of unexpected rain. The price tag includes four tees in it. Myself did ask why I should settle for less mind you...

    Sweet!!

Interesting. They have never been slow for me. What make you think WGT did anything at all with the actual game?

There used to be a seperate screen everybody had to go through to set up an AS match on those courses (and a few more I believe).  That step has now been removed.   Perhaps I meant to say "set up" and not load.  My mistake.  :)

You guys really think WGT treats all outstanding credits as a liability?  When such a small, small, number of credits actually are exchanged for a cash equivalent gift card?  99.9999% of credits are used for pixels, virtual clubs, balls, avatars, bags (lol).  My view is they'd recognize the revenue immediately when Visa, MC, etc sends the xfer funds or sooner.  The costs for the few gift cards they buy? just expense 'em.

Bingo .. ergo .. take them away and save money.

    You don't remember WGTAlex Lou?

I do Andy .. but as I think some of the old timers told me she was in their marketing department and out on the forums as a side job.

And, I'm sure you remember in the "Faterson Chronicles" he ranted on and on about no full time Moderator.   WGTNiv was the first one hired with his job as a forum moderator.

Take FACEBOOK it is in the top 10 MOST HATED COMPANIES list for similar reasons, customer dissatisfaction and complaints.

However, the above is simply the Cy Young Rule in effect.  Most hated companies means about pizz.

If I am wrong in thinking that from you quote above "the Cy Young Rule" means companies are not interested in being profitable???? this is the Squirrel crossing the road in rush hour effect. Why be in business???

Facebook is an addiction in MANY peoples' lives.  Many who claim to hate the company.

What in God's Green Earth do you think WGT is?? same thing in my opinion, seems worse if you look at your profile ,,, you keep records of every credit earned, times you advance tiers, how to make shots "which I appreciate, I liked your info" but don't you think your statement is the pot calling the kettle black? My opinion :-)

I didnt understand a single word you said.  But whatever....I skimmed it, too.
