You see all, It's not only me who feels this way, Its just lucky i always wear a flack vest when posting.

Hell, nobody ever said what you felt wasn't legitimate. I completely agree, the fact they did this makes no sense and it really sucks. I was only questioning why would you get angry to such a degree you'd be willing to quit. And I chose to reply to you, cause your post was the longest and the most angry. Although what I said certainly goes for lots of others. So if they see themselves in that text (page 68), some soul searching never harmed anyone.

EDIT: After writing all this bs i came accross a post by disgruntled top hitters alll complaining about removing gift cards: http://www.wgt.com/forums/t/144965.aspx?PageIndex=2.   (As I said its not justt me then, every one who could obtain a gift card, or near 2 get 1 are all pi55ed)

I too had 2 posts in that thread and I feel for all that their (our) wishes weren't heard.

Btw, why don't you simply start selling credits by forfeiting blitzes in exchange for payments on your paypal account? Even if you use a 3 to 1 exchange rate, you'd make everyone happy (except WGT), players would get 6000 cr for 20$ and you'd get 500 $ for your 150.000 credits. Might actually force WGT to reinstate the gift cards if more people did the same thing.

P.S.: Not really condoning the black market thing, just stating the obvious.

Yep what he ^^^^^said, I think we will see credit play gone here, evolution of the game will require it. This was just a test and just the beginning.

And, I'm sure you remember in the "Faterson Chronicles" he ranted on and on about no full time Moderator.   WGTNiv was the first one hired with his job as a forum moderator.

The rants on "no full time Mod" might have been before I started.  I do remember the Faterson posts calling for proper moderation, combining duplicate quitter posts comes to mind, moving threads to their correct forum, etc...

I do Andy .. but as I think some of the old timers told me she was in their marketing department and out on the forums as a side job.

I thought the community and forums were her main focus.  I thought she started the forum originally.

    No matter...

How would "the police" react to a blunt demand, "who is willing to share..."?

I don't think they can "police" it Paul.

If two guys set up a game and one has agreed to forfeit or lose on purpose, they are still playing the game and WGT is taking a rake.

They would have no idea if a payment had been made privately.

Anyway they have shot themselves in the foot with this one, I've already received a very generous gift from a popular player after I made a cheeky request to CIB about gifting (I'm still open to that gift Chris, if you so wish ;-p), mostly because he's a decent person, but also because he basically said 'he now had no goal to aim for and his credits were virtually worthless to him....and he was also playing a lot less because of the way WGT is becoming'.

Now I can't imagine he's the only player with a good few credits to feel the same way, take CIB for example. And if I was in that position, I would sooner another player make use of them rather that WGT have them back.

Sent CIB an offer too as no answer was forthcoming. :)

Perhaps I'm just a tad paranoid but... You ever get the feeling your not being heard unless your one of the many whom actually pull out plastic every once in awhile and pay? Therefore anything you say may only be inflicting wound to yourself in comment or self expression of feelings? Is it right to even feel this way let alone even think it? Sigh... "Oh c'mon Jason, WGT has been good to you. Look at the prizes you won recently.. and when's the last time you ever had to pay? Who's side are you on anyway?" I love WGT but perhaps it's finally time to slow my roll and allocate my spare time a little differently. Think I will play the occasional RG or private tourney and wait it out for the majors etc. GL in your future endeavors everyone.

No offense taken! Yes, I am charged with the task of conveying messages from the community, even when the message is "Eff you, WGT". It's alright, don't worry about WGTpizza. Just keep the feedback coming :)

The problem, Pizza, is this:  This is WGT saying "Eff you, customers", not vice versa.

Also, I find it insulting to read your siggy when the company you work for doesn't come close to following your advice.  You should remove the 'Stay classy' until WGT meets the standard.  As of right now, they are far from it.

we added to our PRIZE SELECTION for you to spend your winnings on.

Actually, you did not ADD to your prize selection.  What you did was swapped out the stuff that people wanted in the prize collection for stuff that no one wants or asked for.
