  Well played Icon.  Facelift?  Maybe but only if the plastic surgeon used a crow bar instead of a  scalpel.

  Don't frequent the forums too much these days but actually took the time to read this whole thing.  Astounding how a company can tick off it's customer base so radically yet appear so cavalier and  nonchalant about it's poor decisions.

  Best of luck guys.  I'll definitely be cutting WAY back on game play until the majors when we actually have something worthwhile to play for.

  Aha, you mean "easier to select". I had not really noticed that. I have played Congressional after the update but not selected it. Yes, it was really beyond stupid that you where thrown out of the game selection into a new game selection interface when you clicked through the courses before.

  Put the Avatar and bag in the pro shop for 1000 credits. Thousands of players would pay this price. You would only need to sell 300 to equal to the 300k for the Elite avatar. Some of the credits will be earnt and some players will deposit money generating some cash flow.

  The avatar would have 2 drop down boxes. 1 for the polo shirt click the arrow and choose from xx amount of colours. 2nd box has the pants click the drop down box and click the colour. Even having 10 tops and 10 bottoms would make a good combo of different avatars. For an extra 50cr you can have a cheque shirt, extra 100cr you can have cheque pants etc etc.

  Also do a similar thing for the Bags.

  I understand that having millions of credits out of your control on top player’s accounts causes some problems. Like at Christmas so much was given away no doubt less cash was deposited. I can understand putting the custom avatar at 300k as you will want to take some of the millions of credits out of the game.

   But as a suggestion and to give something back to the winners of ready go's and top players.

  How about you have some Ready go's for gift vouchers, even if the entry fee was 1000 credits to win a $30 card for first prize $15 2nd and $10 3rd. then a credit payout down to 15th.

   The top players would deposit the credits into ready go's and happily play as they will get something out of the game.

  I do Andy .. but as I think some of the old timers told me she was in their marketing department and out on the forums as a side job.

  And, I'm sure you remember in the "Faterson Chronicles" he ranted on and on about no full time Moderator.   WGTNiv was the first one hired with his job as a forum moderator.

  Where have all the other new Moderators go to. I think there was about 3 or 4 when Wgtpizza came in.

  You see all, It's not only me who feels this way, Its just lucky i always wear a flack vest when posting.

  And Puholino yes, $250 gift card is not that much really, especially having encountered a six figure sum out of the blue on December 12th (can actually play these courses for real but the divots i create would get me banned) but its the fact you could obtain $$ for playing a "semi-free" online game was the biggest carrot of playing this game.  I hadn't encountered another game any where where you "might" receive something back for playing the game, a kind of pat on the back from WGT for being a loyal, skilled customer.  Yes the game itself is excellent, but added to that the fact you could actually get $250 to $500 back for doing well was an extra incentive and extra feel good factor playing WGT, the fact its now gone has made me feel "Whats the point now spending hours playing?  Do I want to play to buy a avatar???...NO CHANCE. Yes i could still enjoy a few ready go's but i wouldn't really feel i had to play well, who cares now if i start going on a loosing streak, makes no difference any more.  I would even donate my credits to some one (might need a few others to do same) so 4 people can have a golfing holiday just to pi55 WGT off that they have to actually book a golfing holiday out of the Elite collec5hite for someone.

  EDIT: After writing all this bs i came accross a post by disgruntled top hitters alll complaining about removing gift cards: http://www.wgt.com/forums/t/144965.aspx?PageIndex=2.   (As I said its not justt me then, every one who could obtain a gift card, or near 2 get 1 are all pi55ed)

  Two high earning players who actually want to go to Celtic manor go halves, and then take two winners of a community organised tourney.

  To create the tourney make a CC just for the tourney and you as the owner could set all the conditions single play no cheats no nonsense simples. Then at least you have used your accumulated credits for a round of golf and make two people happy and it’s not cost one player the full 480k.
