Looks good... but a $20 at a time... never going to happen . Looks like a bunch of guys with a great idea but no clue on how much time, effort and money it is going to take to make it work. I'm definitely in if they ever get it up and running.

I wonder if they ever heard of a BUSINESS LOAN

I think these Perfect Parallel people are holding something back from us.

They say they've put $1 Million of their own funds into this.

No venture capitalists will touch them and the banks won't give them a business loan......because you can be assured that they will have approached capital investors and banks but seemed to have been knocked back.

Either they are all what they say they are OR folks won't invest in them because it's not going to be a web browser based game.....so if it's only going to be cd / dvd based...that throws them in direct competition with EA Sports and Tiger Woods.......and only a mad investor would invest in them knowing they'll be going head to head with EA Sports.

Last chance saloon for PP is to beg investment from any sucker who don't mind blowing a few bucks.

You know BE i never thought of that, I just assumed it was web based. Now if I win the lottery, they are up and running for 35% of the gross...........................lol

I will not be purchasing it, if it is cd or dvd platform based game for different platforms. It won't be compared to WGT web based. Plus, this game you can join up for free? Some people are good at this game and can get to legend status with the free clubs and balls. Where in that game you have to purchase the game if its cd or dvd based, and on their site you have to purchase even more things online to download for more stuff to the game. Like some of the pledges only get a deal for like 2 years, and then after you have to start paying more again. Yes, I do know pledges is for testing, but still does not mean they won't expect to receive more money from you pledgers.

It does not look like its going to cheap game play like WGT, for people to just join and play for free. If they do go for selling it in a cd or dvd, then it will sold online, and possibly in stores. I don't think it will be totally too much different than TWO. It will be simulation, but it sounds like a hybrid. I don't care if its the best game in the world to me. Money matters more to me if I don't have it to spend, than playing the best game.

Oh, and this is not saying that WGT is the best. I am just saying I like how I can just be a member play for free for a while, and choose whether to add better clubs to play better. That I like, but the last few months of their decisions on this game, is like they don't care much.

If Perfect Parallel went web based, and it was compared to WGT, at least WGT would have to rethink their strategy on keeping their customers. It looks like Perfect Parallel will be going a different way. Unity3D is more for many platforms.

I will switch to Perfect Parallel if they go web based.

according to the PP team the whole idea would be to be web based in that one would be able to go online and play with or against other players ..

it think it'll be a lot like iRacing where u need to download the basic build & updates onto ur hard drive & from there the online play & community based activities will be server based through their site ..

for example at iRacing u can sign up through various packages .. they've got specials goin' all the time .. currently i have a 1 yr subscription .. it costs me something like $7 a month (much less than i spend on WGT every month) .. included are 9 cars & 10 tracks ..

u download their system software onto ur hard drive (with occasional updates) & race online through their site .. of course there's additional content u can purchase .. main;y additional cars & tracks so u can race in a wider selection of comps if u so wish ..

iRacing is lightyears more sophisticated than WGT & once u're set up, more economical in terms of regular play ..

i think PP will works along those same lines ..

The 21st century version of MSLinks. If they're smart they'll incorporate what made the Links community really great-the ICQ chat. Make it, or something like it,  part of the game and make it easy to hook up and stay in touch in real time.

If I was founder of a company trying to raise an extra $300,000 from members of the public who I'd never met in my entire life before.....I'd at least try to make myself just a tad more presentable.

    1. by having a bath.

    2. by having a shave

    3. by not uploading a video shot in my bedroom

It just looks totally unprofessional. Would you give this guy $300,000?

At least WGT uses Twitch TV & a clean looking office for their Twitch Casts.

It's all about professionalism when you're going cap in hand looking for backers to fork out $300,000

    Just Saying....
