I will not be purchasing it, if it is cd or dvd platform based game for different platforms. It won't be compared to WGT web based. Plus, this game you can join up for free? Some people are good at this game and can get to legend status with the free clubs and balls. Where in that game you have to purchase the game if its cd or dvd based, and on their site you have to purchase even more things online to download for more stuff to the game. Like some of the pledges only get a deal for like 2 years, and then after you have to start paying more again. Yes, I do know pledges is for testing, but still does not mean they won't expect to receive more money from you pledgers.
It does not look like its going to cheap game play like WGT, for people to just join and play for free. If they do go for selling it in a cd or dvd, then it will sold online, and possibly in stores. I don't think it will be totally too much different than TWO. It will be simulation, but it sounds like a hybrid. I don't care if its the best game in the world to me. Money matters more to me if I don't have it to spend, than playing the best game.
Oh, and this is not saying that WGT is the best. I am just saying I like how I can just be a member play for free for a while, and choose whether to add better clubs to play better. That I like, but the last few months of their decisions on this game, is like they don't care much.
If Perfect Parallel went web based, and it was compared to WGT, at least WGT would have to rethink their strategy on keeping their customers. It looks like Perfect Parallel will be going a different way. Unity3D is more for many platforms.
I will switch to Perfect Parallel if they go web based.
