    PUHOLINO:
As far as people calling for a "strike", so WGT's cash box would "suffer" the consequences, think about this. When a business is no longer profitable, it usually shuts down. What ya gonna do then?

I'm the person who suggested an "organized strike" which in this case should have been an "organized boycott".

A boycott or strike does not put a company out of business. A company usually puts itself out of business. Look at the Detroit auto companies, still in operation after God knows how many strikes.

A strike or boycott is action taken when concerns fall on deaf ears and are not taken seriously. It allows concerns to be brought to the bargaining table that otherwise would have no chance at all.

I sincerely doubt that WGT would lock the doors if an organized boycott were to take place and If they did shut down there was life before WGT and there will be life after WGT.

Don't get me wrong I think this a great game and I hope that it only gets better as time moves forward.

However, after reading through the forums I see what is happening as "DEJA VU" as far as pricing is concerned. From what I've been able to gather each time new products have been added at outrageous prices everyone complains (wah-wah) as they purchase the product and as they continue to puchase the product the whining stops and what was orginally unacceptable is now normal.

So, it is like the boy who cried wolf. Heard it before, time heals all and once again the sheep will return to their old passive selves.

I sincerely do not mean to offend anyone. Just stating it the way I see it.

I'm not sure the perception of Pizza here will change any time soon  but it will change. Just give  him him the space to make his mistakes and don't take him literally unless you're stomping on the forum guidelines (Shrude.)  He's trying. Pissing off a lot of people in the meantime, but he's trying so you have to give him credit for that.

In full agreement with YJ here, Pizza is in a precarious situation, as another post stated Would you go out bash the Co. that signs your pay check, In this economy I think not. They are given a task at hand and they can follow it or follow the carpet to the front door on their way out, I know what I would do... Yes Sir Boss...

In this case ... all the customers are complaining about is the ability to make a custom made avatar and provide the ability to cash ridiculous amounts of credits for gift cards.

    WRONG !!!!!

Straw that broke the camels back is the phrase,This is why the post has become so large ! An outcry from the the top to the average player all trying to convey the dismay at the latest releases.(OR LACK OF !!) Whilst WGT do  sweet FA regarding suggestions from the clientele. That's the bottom line .WGT are a company who want to be the best. The long term goal is to release virtual games from golf to baseball and whatever else they choose.Your Dollar wont get you ShI.t now i'm afraid. Its all being invested in other projects and we are the providers. My solution....ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE. or move on.

I wont be purchasing any "ELITE" goods even if i was good enough. What would be intresting is to see a counter next to each item to guage how many have been sold.....

    Happy Hitting.

Dead nuts right on .... right now all WGT sees is a couple of dozen people complaining about custom avatars and gift cards.   Hardly enough to make anything happen.   I've been reading these forums for years .. and I honestly can say ... custom avatars are cute .. but the majority of the players could give darn about them.

By the way --- I agree with with you Spino .. the last release had nothing to enhanced the game for the long time player.   I personally still don't think it warrants an uprising of the sort I'm reading about now.

My feelings exactly, always assumed it was a she.

Even now when her name comes up in a CC discussion,  I still say she when referring to her/him.

Reminds me a bit of WGTAlex,  another competent wgt moderator who was in charge.
