I'd be willing to bet that you are an (google) expert on any given topic.

No but I am an IT professional.

Then you know that Flash != Flash.

There are at least three ways to implement Flash into a browser - to my knowledge (IE, Chrome, FF). These showed significantly different problems in the wild Flash weeks of last Summer.

Thus the type of browser IS important IMNSHO.

I have DSL here at my shop and cable at home. The DSL trumps the cable bigtime

I guess it is which DSL you have Jim, but my cable is much better than the AT&T DSL that I had before.

    Steve442:

What is it with people recommending different browsers? Use the browser you prefer by all means but it is Flash that the game runs on and that causes the meter issues so it's the Flash version that's important not the type of browser you use.

Some browsers do work better. It is not just the flash version but how stable the browser is. And there are several browsers that are more stable than Chrome even if pepper flash is disabled. True some flash versions have caused problems but the more stable the browser the less problems people had with the troublesome versions of flash.

I have 6 different browsers on my computer and Chrome with pepper flash enabled (other flash disabled) is the only one that gives me a consistent meter, I do think sometimes it just all depends on your computers personality if you can call it that.

That is a matter of opinion not a fact. Chrome properly setup is every bit as good (if not better) as anything else currently available.

What works for one person may not work for another. Spending a little time configuring, cleaning and clearing (caches) on your system will prove more beneficial than simply changing browsers.
