This message is for anyone thinking about joining a CC.

There are many CC's out there and many are very fine but not all will give you what you're looking for so i believe it to be important to ask questions 1st or at least , have info on what the CC stands for and what the rules are ...if any. Some have way too many requirements for my taste ...lol ...and if you don't know what they are , you could end up being removed so i suggest to inquire first.

So if you are an active player AND a respectfull person , my doors are open. My CC has no rules and the only requirement is : amateur tier and above. And what do i mean by being active ? ...simply not a ghost who will hardly ever play CC tournaments and/or with fellow members,

So if you want to find out more about the RLGC , simply click on the following link :

Royal Laval Golf Club is openning its doors !

I can't say that this CC is the best because it would be pretentious and presumptuous but it is a good one and will get better with time as we will grow. So if you are a respectfull and active player looking to join a good CC , why not give the RLGC a try ?

Nothing to lose by checking it out ! ...Thanks

    caroline

? How do you get to know a CC when you cant see any info, no forum,no link, no idea what the members are like no way to meet talk get to know the club, its just (join club) no idea who or what they are about for 80-90% of all clubs listed in country club list.

    WHAT ABOUT THIS ISSUE?

up to the CC owners to somehow find a way to give info about their club ...on the CC main page or on the WGT forum ---> country club corner or even on their own profile page. But many have and potential members also have to take time to look for those info ! ...and if there is no info anywhere , as i already mentionned above on the 1st post , up to people to ask questions & inquire 1st !

as for myself , i did write a somewhat complete post but not my fault if a player doesn't take time to go read it !

The first thing to do is to friend the owner of the club, and then you may question them about what their club is all about.

Second look at the members in the club and look at all of their stats on the CC page, you won't learn the member that way but you can see who is active in playing, you will NOT see if they are playing in CC tourneys though.

Some clubs have web pages, not all because it is an expensive set up to do.  If they have one, go to their web page and you will really learn a lot about them..

Shrude nailed it in his post about CC's.
