I have given my opinion on this before but I'll do it again.
I love the British and US Opens, great fun to watch and see the best players struggle on these tough courses. However that doesn't make them fun to play on a video game. I felt that Olympic was an okay course for WGT, Royal St George not very good, so many of the courses just look and play almost exactly alike in Scotland and England. The US Open goes to Pinehurst next year, that will be a great WGT course, not like any of the other courses, a few years later to Winged Foot, another great course. Several years from now we will get Pebble Beach, another winner. Then you get Shinnecock Hills, great course but almost a British Open style course.
You also will soon start the overlapping of courses since the British and US Opens do have a rotation. Hopefully when the course overlaps we will go to the PGA, they have some great courses that aren't on the US Open rotation. I would love to get the course they played on 2 years ago up in Wisconsin. We already had the Ocean Course where the PGA was this year.
I wan't impressed with Manele hope they don't waste time on that for an 18 hole course. I do like the concept of the Best of Water, Hardest, etc. I think that is a good and cheap way to mix things up. One of the best things to do is to have 3 or 4 pin placements per hole. That makes the same course play very different.
