The Cheats Aren't A Myth!

  Yeah he and is saying 75 percent of tour legends are cheaters lol. But my thing is if your not gonna work on your game then dont call anyone a cheat. Last year i thought low scores were impossible to shoot. I had a 40 percent one putt stat. Now got it to 57 and better scores. I just wish i had mine in the 60's like some of the others. Any game someone is gonna cheat at even real life sports mark mcgwire, lance armstrong and many more. But just because they did or some do there is no need to call out a whole list of names and say they are cheats.

  Exactly. My 1 putts are 54 %, I've joined last January, became a legend in early August and a sub 60 one since late October. And that's with no charts, notes or scales of any kind. I still almost never use chip or pitch (didn't take the time to learn them yet). Those are the main reasons why I can't come close to the really great players. I play mainly to enjoy with friends and just enough cash games to support myself and our CC tourneys.

  Now imagine people who actually took the time to learn every shot and every green to a degree where they could play blindfolded. Their scores are that low simply because of that, not some slow a$$ meter. And I find it simply ridiculous whenever some dumba$$, who couldn't be bothered to take enough time to learn the game, comes out and starts firing the word "cheater" at everyone, who's better than him.

  P.S.: I'm sure you know my rant isn't adressed to you, lol. It was just a good post to use a quote from.

  just out of curiousity...i wonder if cheatengine would slow down those flash pron sites....see it all in slo mo :)

  if anyone wants to give it a whirl and report back.

  seriously though.

  we know there's cheat stuff out there.

  what we don't know is who uses it.

  pointing fingers and accusing not just top players but any players on this site of using CE only causes animosity and ill feeling. people using more than one account pose more of a problem to this game than CE.

  i'm sure WGT will eventually find a solution to combat such software.....but it will take time. who knows what WGT already has in place? i mean it's not like they're gonna come out and say they have developed a solution...it'll be kept a company secret.

  there's no point squabbling amongst each other....as it serves no purpose.

  Comedian Ehh? I am in College, so I don't think D's were an option. You're just ignorant. You like to point fingers and bring up the past. First off, you can't bring up the past. Second of all, you're exhibiting ***-like behavior which is getting pretty annoying. If you don't like me, why talk to me or complain about me. It seems someone you don't approve of would never cross your tongue (keyboard).

  Yup.  As long as the cheat programs only help with dinging, there's little reason to be concerned with cheating at the upper levels.  Cheating is a shortcut to success, and since there is no easy path to 95% of the skills needed to perform at a high level, I believe it unlikely that those who would choose to cheat the dinger could master everything else.  It would require a split personality.

  (I suppose Lance Armstrong could be used as a contrary example of one who both cheated and worked his ass off, but I don't think it's at all the same.  He absolutely had to cheat to win, since his competition was already performing at a level beyond what any normally aspirated human could ever dream of.  Here, many of the greatest players have proven themselves clean, and anybody who is close to that level can see the possibility of improvement in his or her own game.  Also, Armstrong's whole life was cycling, with immense pressure and incredible rewards, whereas for WGTers, well, not so much.)

  Somebody searching for dingbots on WGT need look no further than the multis, sandbaggers, and skins hustlers - those who are already taking the easy road to profit  in a dishonest manner with less than elite skills.

  I don't see that his score in anyway takes anything away from the point the guy is trying to make. He set up a new account and played the game with starter clubs and balls. The program isn't going to improve the distance the ball travels or the precision of the clubs. His +1 after 3 holes is irrelevant, as is the exaggerated reduction in meter speed.

  The fact is that with this program, the knowledge on how to tweak it and the top clubs and ball, a player could successfully score ridiculous numbers game after game. The only caveat I'd throw in is that the player still needs to know how to putt proficiently. If they cannot read a green then they will still miss putts others will make.

  I can only draw conclusions when I assess how this program would improve my game. Even in the lowest rounds I have ever shot, a few 53s, I have always made some basic error that could have been avoided. There has always been at least 2 holes where I have not made birdie. There's always some loose shots that see an approach go to 20 feet or miss a green. With that program I could eradicate these lapses in concentration of that I am sure and I would hole more putts. When on a great round it is missing the ding on my putting that also sees needless shots thrown away.

  People can ridicule the guy but I am pretty damn sure that in the hands of the right persons it could make them extremely difficult to beat.

  Really Tiffer don't see how could be said better. This is a huge problem, period, and i will admit now,,, that is the reason i do not play ready goes.

  My one putt percentage is 62.76%, i know for a fact if i could adjust the meter speed to my liking, my scores would improve, no doubt.

  Then there is the fact i pay $6.00 a sleeve for max balls to slow meter so i can have more control. Not to mention i pay to play this game. Would be nice to have top Nike ball and adjust meter speed to my liking, huh?? 

  But sad thing is this has been around a long time, and from what i am told nothing can be done. Sad long ago integrity of this game is gone. I play for fun, and enjoy it, i am not looking to win credits, but would be nice if the game was honest.

  Ok gerald and all your stats are perfect to contend. And tiffer the one your siding with is one of the best the game has seen. I see your point but we are already shooting 54's and doing it honestly so i dont see us getting any better even with a cheat. Sebicu my team mate does not ding any shots and im not kidding. He only plays bad when he hits the ding on accident. He only plays to hit late or early on all shots. So dinging is not the world is my point. i hit 28 at oak and was 12 feet through round. Meter has been choppy since update but i made the putts. 8 months ago if i had that many outside 6 feet i would had shot 34. So i get your point but the names you see all the time are not cheating they know where they want to be on all courses and what the putts are going to do when hit them from trial. and error. The putt wins not the ding. FFS i dinged one on 13 oak with 3 headwind directly in face and it went 12 feet to the left. So if you ding all shots and it was gonna make you a super player i think id seen some sub 50s shot and not from baby tees.
