Practice - I didn;t know that was allowed, just a quick random 3 is what you said.

Well Jeff and I will give it a crack on Sunday night, no time for practice.

I believe Shiner meant that Teams could play practice 18 anytime as long as they declared when they would be playing their Tourney round. Corwyn and I have played practice rounds in the past then our Tourney round was never as good. This time we went in cold and  ....... ;-)

Yes I did say that and the reason was when starting your round it is a way to get in your groove so to speak. Conditions, etc.

And what Cerino said. I basically wanted all teams to go in cold in this round without any practice and probably should have.

Now I understand why you didn't want the course or conditions of the final to be known in advance. Interesting idea I must say and one Corwyn and I never thought of for TIO. With each Tourney you run you end up learning a lot about the next one. You've done a very good job here. :-)

Thank you Cerino for your kind words. I did receive a suggestion about the final round and I didn't realize that the suggestion would make a difference in the outcome.

You learn by mistakes and I have made some during this tournament, but when holding the next one I have something to look back on.

Yes, there will be another one. After the Open. No holes barred. But Uneven Lies.

If you want to spice it up, we can have a side-bet of 500 c's per man.

Discussed it with my partner. Sorry to say, but there will be no side action from us.

Speaking of cold, is freezing alright? I haven't even changed my clubs since the last round and have only been playing 1 hole for the CDP every day. My new job has me waking up at a time when I used to stop playing before bed time, lol. Dead tired, no time at all to play, but a huge sense of fulfillment nonetheless. At least I'll be able to get some sleep and a few practice holes on Sunday (my 1st day off in a while), when we play our round.

Mizzy and me start our final round now. I heard Kiawah plays tough this week, so wish us luck  =)

The game started out nicely for us, but we lost focus from #9 on. Doomswitch really came to us when we both started to bogey the same holes at #9 and #10 and with the birdies drying out, a sub-par round was soon out of reach. Nonetheless it was an awesome tournament and Mizzy and me will certainly try to step up and improve at the next edition =)

    Cheers, Hans
