    PUHOLINO:

Josh and I will play our round this afternoon, hopefully in the next few hours.

Thank you for the heads up. I see you have the starters out.

Lol, those were still left from last week, I only played 1 hole a day this week. We're starting NOW.

Wes and I tried hard to play it on Friday night before the busy week end. When I say Hard, it was hard...We played 6 times the 2 first holes and been disconnected 6 times, couldn't reach the green of the 3rd hole and NOT because of our bad shots!!!!

So we agreed at the 7th try and 1h1/2 of game to reach the 2nd shot of the 3rd hole to play later in the week end. We'll play this afternoon or early tonight lately.

Sorry about that Steven but we couldn't make it before. Wooden sticks and balls are in the bag right now, next connection is to play this nightmare!!!

    Fred

Well, we just finished our round and it was a really disappointing performance by both of us, so I'm pretty sure we'll be the ones congratulating the other team.

However,  this tournament was great fun and MUCH thanks to Mnshiner for setting it up, I loved every frustrating second of it.

Thanks for the heads up fredsf. So it looks like we will have to wait until Easter Monday to find out who came out on top in both brackets. More suspense!!

We finally got our final round in after the nightmare of discoes Friday night.......wanna say that this has been a fun and very well run tournament, we hadn't play uneven lies with the starters before this tournament, and it was fun to grind away for 18 holes

First of all I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter

My congratualions go out to all who have participated in this tournament. I consider each and everyone of you to be winners for seeing this thing thru. Now before we get to the results let me explain the final round.

I had 2 different ways that I wanted the set-up to be and had help in doing so if you read one of my previous posts. The main jist of the replies I received were to put them back as far as you can ( Gold Tees ) to make their approaches longer and with the starter ball tournament greens would be hard to stay on. This reason being that the short game is something to be desired around the greens in Uneven Lies. I could see where that would work except my response back was but they are used to putting on Tournament greens and Championship for that matter and even with Kiawahs crazy grid lines they shouldn't have trouble with the putting. I had already decided on the heavy winds so that was a given. It was the shot clock and green speeds is where I really wanted to make this final round the toughest of them all. I thought long and hard about having a 60 second shot clock which wasn't done in the 2 "Tough-it-Out" tournaments to make the shots harder to analyze and as far as the green speed I thought if I made it slow it would take you folks a few holes to get used to and that would be where the matches could be decided in the early holes. So I oppted for the set-up that you folks played with taking out the Gold tees which would have been way to much punishment and settled for the White ones. Enough of my rambling lets get to the facts.

Congratulations go out to team Unbeatables in the winners bracket by winning their match against team The Whiining Pussies by 1 stroke. 70 to 71.

Congratulations also go out to team Maulwurftöter in the losers bracket for winning that bracket by a 1 stroke margin over team Uneven Liars. The final scores of the 4 teams in that bracket were:
    Maulwurftöter 64
    Uneven Liars  65
    Cuppers        69
    Birdierabbits  71

The final round scorecards have already been posted for viewing as well as the bracket being finalized.

Once again "Thanks" folks for sticking by me thru this tournament. I will be holding another one of these best ball tournaments after the virtual Open is over. This time it will be "No Holes Barred". Use your own gear next time.

For the folks that have won prizes please contact me via a PM, email or wall post about how you want to receive your prizes. As far as the trophys go, Darsum has been notified and will get to putting the finishing touches on them ASAP.

    Edit:
Forgive me folks my rambling hasn't stopped. I almost forgot to mention something very special to me. I also want to "Thank You" Hanswurst72 who helped me out in the very beginning aspect of putting this tournament on and also Corwyn who really took time out of his busy schedule to guide me through the rough spots I was having.
