Yes Its beyond awful, Seems WGT introduce new pins without actually TESTING THEM.

You will get a diagonal impossible putt, a blind reverse view putt where green slope is blocking view, a small avatar in reverse view with aiming arrow blocking view, or a even worse diagonal view which is again useless help.  The only option is to use FRONT VIEW, which again is as accurate as a BLIND SNIPER.

I dread what type of view i will get on 15, and I'm over the moon If i manage to FLUKE a birdie.  Please WGT, test your holes before releasing them.

Switch to chip from the reverse angle and it is fairly easy to line up your putt. This is one of the pins where the chip view is a life saver. Before I started using the chip view there I was like Chris but since then I have birdied quite a few ties.

I don't believe WGT was originally intending to offer a second set of pin locations on Kiawah, but with the PGA Championship there last year (and being unable to secure Royal Lytham for a 2nd HD course) I think they decided to release them anyway.  Consequently, some of the camera angles are awful.  Doesn't excuse it, but perhaps explains it...

I concur with this but as Chris said, surely these should have been tested BEFORE releasing the new pins!

As Born said, chip in the reverse angle helps, as does zooming in to a degree, but still is more luck than good management to get the line spot on. It is a pity, Kiawah is a great course but I will usually avoid playing it now.

Change your shot selection from putt to chip.

While the actual pin locations are really great and well thought out, the breaks on them are impossible to read at times.

Some of them have 3 or even 4 breaks within 5 feet...No golf course in the world has greens that nasty. On some of those holes from certain angles I look at the break and just putt straight, there is no hope in trying to read it.

But to be fair this was the very first course they made on WGT so they did make mistakes. Also they made the new pins from scratch, without revisiting the site. So it was an impressive feat, but a frustration at times with some of the angles and breaks on offer.

Just finished playing KI. Th e player is not always square with the hole/pin while on the green. Makes it very difficult especially when you have an extreme slope or breaks.

I have played at Kiawah a dozen times or so in real golf.

The greens are very difficult and have more breaks in some areas than you can imagine.  In real golf at Kiawah you generally have greens that are not nearly as fast as they play on WGT in the tournament or championship mode.  Summer at Kiawah is hot and the greens aren't moved that closely.

I have however played there in the fall and the greens are very fast and the putting very difficult.  However many of the pins that we have on WGT are not used.  For example the pin on #2 is generally not on that horrible side slope.

The pin on hole #5 is generally up or back not in that middle spot.  I will say though, having played most of the stroke play courses that WGT has to offer in real golf, that the breaks on Kiawah are as difficult as Oakmont.
