    When playing in a match for credits or in blitz games this would give a huge advantage to the players hitting after that person.  So something like this probably won't be a option.

    Actually the advantage is for WGT. If the player that comes after uses the same amount of power and backspin and your freaking VEM screws the shot by 10 yards in any direction you have no ground to stand on, that is the truth. So far, WGT has the benefit of the doubt but when two shots are similarly executed and the results differ by many yards ... Pandora´s box gets open and WGT´s damaged reputation will suffer even more. Same for putts.

     

    +1, i think that would be some funny stuff for sure. Players would be having a fit, lol.

    My best advice for WGT is create more engagement for your customers.

    CC stats, more stats, tier based stats and better stats.

    More CC possibilities like CC Forum mods, give owners the chance to name captains or VP's or whateve. Pro shop items as prices for cc tournaments.

    These type of additions to the game will create more involvement. More involvement is what keeps ppl playing and makes them play more. There are tons of great requests in this thread. Some like more stats and CC stats should be really easy to implement because the data is already there. 

    The most involving thing to do is add more courses. But that will cost time and money, lots of ideas in this thread are easy, cheap and will create money for these courses which in there turn will create more revenue because of the easy and cheap additions WGT just made.

    Sometimes i wish i was involved in WGT. You are sitting on a goldmine but do not have a clue how to get to the gold. Or does Mr WGT and his brilliant marketing team still think the new elite shop items were a good idea? How many custom bags/avatars have you sold? And i bet you had to restock on visors, shirts and hats a few times..... ? because someone stole them!

    I actually think WGT are trying to do this now - see the thread in the CC Corner by trying to form a focus group.

    I do agree there are many things which should be easy to implement and hopefully they will come.

    Sadly not everything can or will be implemented, and some will take much longer than we would like. However this is where I still think this thread should have been answered by a yes, no or undecided - with no time frames offered (as some things may take longer than promised and there is nothing worse than saying a date and not delivering).

    LOL I too sometimes wish I was involved in WGT as I too think this game could be better - regardless I still love playing.

    During a stint away from the game I actually played a number of RPG's with my kids. Bored now so packed it in but there are some interesting aspects that WGT should be looking at.

    I was sitting watching the Masters and thinking, look at all these guys, some tall some short. some fat some thin, there were all different shapes and sizes.

    Why not start letting people create their own golfers. Lets take some attributes of a golfer,

    Strength

    Physical fitness,

    Intelligence

    Agility

    Height

    What you say is that each person is allowed say 100 points to distribute between these different abilities. If someone wants to build an Ox then fine they will have a guy who can hit the ball a mile but they will miss out on some of the accuracy. He might hit it 30 yards longer but it is harder to hit it straight.

    If they are fitter and more intelligent then maybe they hit straighter, or are better shot creators.

    Good agility could lead to a better short game.

    Intelligence could help with putting.

    How this works is that percentages are added or subtracted from each shot you play based on the choices you have made. These percentages only need to be tiny. This must be a relatively easy programming feat as you are just adding or subtracting from the calculations that are already being made (says me from a non programming background).

    Just allowing people some part in the creation of their player will draw them closer to it. I don't think that there necessarily needs to be a great change to the avatars look, you would probably only need about 20 different versions to cover most choices.

    I've got quite a few ideas on how this could work but won't bore everyone with it.

    This though with uneven lies(error free) will take this game to a completely different level.

    These things will add depth to the game and make it harder. I think most people want to win, it is not a case of the score. The first Open at BP was won with a 65 and only a few people went sub 70 but you will not have found one person complaining about it being too difficult.

    three more ideas

    1) allow topspin/bottomspin on putts

    2) when viewing country club home page can you integrate the light indicating players status - available - busy ect

    3) sell individual balls

    many good constructive suggestions. i would like to see one addition also. when in equipment screen - when viewing balls could we add the ability to see current ball strength be visible  (as is on game mode). the current ball in use of that type of ball displayed , as many people keep a variety of balls

    It may have already been suggested, my apologies if i'm copying somebody elses idea.

    Why not incorporate uneven lies into Blitz and CTTH rounds, it wouldn't require a lot of reprogramming and it would offer players more choice.

    i agree yep more courses i feel like a mouse on a wheel .. same clubs ok a few new editions but still losin balls in the drink and takin all our ready cash .. we also need to be heard !! 1 word STALE  AIR

    More suggestions -

     

    * summary of suggestions (like alanti's list) - publicised.

    * be able to forfeit in stroke games without waiting your turn (I suggested this before but don't know if its on the list)

    * improved ability to report problems with  surveys and videos

    I can't find anything closer to the subject I have in mind.....bear with me...

    I live in Thailand with a 'BB connection?'  which is less than half the speed I had when I lived in Canada 10 years ago. It's the best I can get in my town. As a result, I get very slow game and reload speeds...sometimes I get disconnected (they say my internet is down....it's just very slow).....  I have a new Macbook Pro, so it's not the fault of the cmptr.

    I can't even play fullscreen...   That's the problem with playing software 'in the cloud'. I have suggested paying for a downloadable version of the game, but was shot down...I would gladly pay for each course as well.  Very frustrated playing, not to mention not much advancement due to internet interruptions, and inability to resume my game.

    Any ideas that I might use to help my game?
