    Maybe none.

That sounds a bit more honest.lol

All those ideas will take time and money, and I'm sure WGt is quite happy at the moment with concentrating on Merion so every thing else will get thrown on the shelves and either forgot??  Or hopefully SOME might get implemented by next Christmas.

    Nahhh shooting for Thanksgiving lol

That sounds more like it, we have courses everybody is sick of, we have clubs still offerred from 4 years ago, yet you guys are making money hand over fist, LOL, this place will never change, and 1 golf course does not make a whole hell of a lot of difference.

No kidding? wow!,you missed my point entirely Lonnie.....

Actually no I didnt . Thats why I said use up the singles on stroke play rounds , and CTTH  play. You knew when you started the game , that you only had one ball left. The game even tells you this, and gives you the option to purchase more of same ball brand. The fact that you want the option to play every ball in your bag during a game , is a useless point to me. The only single balls in my bag , are the gift balls from WGT. Iplay srixons, and only buy srixons. Find one ball, and play it. Its not rocket science, its just golf. Happy Swinging

Just thought of another option that could be of some use, but not sure if this thread is now closed to more opinions.

We are going to be playing a new Tourny in our CC very soon, and its a Blitz Tourny. 1 of our rules is that it has to be a random selection on the courses played. There is no way of telling, as far as i know, that the other person sending you the invite has indeed selected the random option for these games. So would it be possible to have something there that says the game you are been invited to is a random selection game?

You know yourself folks, i could be a killer at Kiawah, and only have to select it a few times to be in with a great chance of winning this Tourny.

We had one of those comps in our cc....  it was just fantastic and everybody had a great time....

We preset all the courses/conditions to use in the different rounds, which worked out pretty good, but I see what your saying about the Random suggestion.

Blitz comps are good because everybody can compete with just about everybody else.

Anyway.....  Has Wgt done any of the suggestions we had on the list.... not sure?

Are they at the bottom of the list of priority or is it one of those ideas to tell the bosses about suggestions and they go in one ear and out the other, just to keep us happy.....lol

I'm sick of reading Wgt did this and started that because the people wanted it.... What People?.....  did we suggest that stupid thing.....lol

I think it's about time Wgt started to Express these suggestions to the top of the list....  All the CC suggestions are great....

-Champ Speed Greens in CC's will be good for a start, that's just one suggestion in a list of quite a few.

As we all know... Country Clubs in Wgt play a big part in the way we all do things and any suggestions relating to cc's should be at the top of list.

It would be helpful to see how many hits are left on a ball when equipping one's bag before starting a game. In that way, the players has the option of declining a game if the ball is in jeopardy of not lasting the full round. Perhaps, to go along with this suggestion or in place of it, the ability to access other balls in one's inventory (bag) during play would be beneficial. As it stands now, if a player loses a ball during the round, the default is a starter replacement. It is extremely frustrating to have other good balls in one's bag and no way to access them during a round.

Thanks Mantis. The way we are running this is, we seperate the club into 2 teams, N.America, and the rest of the world (Kind of like a Ryder cup). Each player in each team has to play every member in their own team once (which could be up to 15-20 games). When that is done, then we take the top 8 scorers from each team.

Then they have to play another member from their own team again (from the top 8) after a draw to find pairings, but this time we play the best of 3 games wins, and moves onto the next round. Then its best of 5, and so on until we have 1 member from each team left. Those 2 will then pay the final, and with a best of amount of games too. Having the Random selection on the courses would eliminate all the setting up of games, and make it that bit easier to get games done.  Cheers my man.

A number of club members have suggested this should be looked at when misshitting the ball and have it go in the trees or in weeds for a lost ball or wherever etc...

    (some examples that were given)

    • A raccoon falling out out of a tree
    • a puff of feathers
    • a cats screech (sound byte)
    • somebody yelling to watch out (sound byte)

There reasoning behind this is because instead of having a WTH moment or cussing or or having to replace the mouse and/ computer screen or laptop or just outright quitting the game,  that it would ease the tension and make them laugh it off

    Just  a thought

to be able to choose an area on the tee to place your ball. instead of centre every hole.
