Maybe starts go amber then red above 90% or some where  around there.  Definitely would add interest and fun in my book!

Yes, and similar with the spin. 100% backspin and 100% power is, I believe, pretty hard to handle in real life.

How it is and is quite simple really.

Player 1 uses Rap driver hits 265.

    Player 2 uses R1 driver hits 310.

Both players hit there 2nd shot to 15ft.

Player 1 is a good putter (makes his putt)

Player 2 is not a good putter (misses his putt)

(Overall) a few yards of the tee is not going to make much of difference if you cant putt to save your life.

In this you say it all. The real difference between average and good players is their putting

Player two has a far greater chance of hitting the ball closer to the hole because he's 45 yards closer to the green. Player two may indeed miss a 15 foot putt but not a 5 footer.

Player 1 is teeing off from closer tees and actually practices his/her game. Player 2  plays from the tips but thinks equipment is the only thing that matters  so he/she doesn't practice and gets beat on the greens. Player 2 also starts threads making excuses for his/her short comings blaming VEM for his/her lack of commitment to getting better. ;-)

I can Putt....  now i'm closer to green too, for my approach's.  For me that is fantastic :)

Exactly, the best recipe for a good putt is a good approach. Your One Putt average will always follow your Average Distance to Pin number.

I putt heaps better than my stats say,  I would love to know the stats for the last year.

The worst part of my game is the approach shots, hence my pretty average Ctth scores....lol  I'm not one of those players who can nail every shot to 6ft away. So the extra distance off the tee will help.

Most of the guys in my CC are pretty good and in M/P comps we have.....  As Sun said....  I'll be making those 15-20ft putts whilst others will be just missing and that's the diffence most of time in our games.

As said Previously too....  getting to L98 is a Lifetime away.

There are very good drivers that suit people in all Levels.  G20's.. R11.. R11(s) just to name a few. Mixed with good Irons, it really doesn't matter what clubs you have in the bag.

If you make most of the greens in regulation ... then the difference in scores will only be how good or bad you putt.

All our stats are from day 1 but our averages are only for the tier we're in at the time. Right now WGT doesn't have a way for us to separate our stats by tier and I think they're never going to have a way to do it in the future.

hey roger its true you cant see updated putting stats to reflect the last year or so accurately but theres a rough guide to how ya going. i just add up all the percentages of the putts ie % putts made from 0-5ft, 5-10,10-25,25-50 and 50+.  when i add mine up it comes to 71.97 which is roughly how im performing at this moment. basically a touch over 7 out of 10 putts lol. it gives me an indication of how well someones putting i guess - not the most accurate but best i can see.

Cheers Mate.... Great Tip.   Mine is 62.78, that's heaps better than the 44% i have showing.

    I'm happy with that.
