If I were coding things around here, and if it hasn't been done already, I'd add a random delay after the mouse is released and before the meter moves.  That should foul-up the dingbots.

It seems as though everybody uses visual cues when clicking, so a random delay wouldn't hurt anybody's game - does anybody have a completely rhythmic clicking style?

I like that idea, it would be nice (suprising, but nice) to hear something official though.

I do find it rather suprising about the attacks this post has received especially considering I am only trying to suggest a cure for a problem. The cynic in me wonders about the motive for such attacks.

I like this idea and as I said previously, perhaps WGT already have some script to counter these,

I agree that most people use visual cues to click so this would in no way affect your play. I have heard of some who literally time their swing so would probably ruin their method. I did try this once, resulted in a slice OB lol

Hear what you are saying but I'm sure they, (wgt) have had many of these so called 'cheats' over the years and while speed of action could be argued is not their forte, I'm pretty confident they have safeguards in place to combat old and adapt to new ones...

Also guessing they won't comment on security matters in general.

I am positive WGT will not comment. Having said that it is a little like the drug cheats in sport - they are always one step ahead whilst the goverening bodies play catch up.

Ok lets cut to the chase, would someone use it and report back if it works or not and actually makes you better and more consistent.

I believe nothing on youtube, and if this is the same program I  have seen before on youtube, $30.00 per year, give me a break. If you look around further you will see reports that these do not ding as advertised.

I think we have far greater issues to worry about, this is a flash based game, rather then look around for auto dingers, google flash hacks.

I do not believe someone wishing to cheat to make a phone call, will bother with an auto dinger, I believe they will just hack the flash to insert as many credits as they so desire.

Google that and you will see all sorts of promises as well, speed hacks, credit hacks, score hacks etc....

If we believe all the promises made on the net we have far greater problems then worrying about this game.

And I have seen evidence of this at play possibly, when playing skins a while back and 4 of us were tied and nine skins on the line, last player a pro who had been playing poorly, suddenly a screen pops up and they got a 1 on the par 4, no shot taken, no nothing and they won all 9 skins. Was that a hack or a burp of some kind, don't know, cant say, no proof. Just moved on.

In addition if this were true and available, would anybody have any chance anymore, a 28 at cabo would not even get your credits back if that were true, and all the scores would be 24 and 25 and 26. But this is not so, which tells me, there is nothing to worry about except my own play.

I believe those that focus on this stuff is just trying to justify their own in ability to play this game and they believe their parents that they are the greatest and anyone who can beat them must be cheating.

Those people are going to grow up sad, once they get off the mothers breast and encounter the realities of the real world.

Very good point. Well presented. People should take note of this rather than assuming YOU TUBE correct.................May those that try it out have an eternally pox ridden computer as well :))

No disrespect to any one but a video like that by a person charging.  Only looked at it quick but from I saw (correct if wrong) he wanted the payment pretty quick, no free evaluation of full product period.  Does that they something about his confidence (lack of) in the product..............

I actually think it's a really good idea to vary meter length (and/or add in random pauses) although people would probably find a way to counter that as well eventually.

Maybe a pulse meter to simulate nerves, or a heartbeat could be an idea. Think about it, you are playing really well, and your heartbeat is pounding on a tee shot that could decide if you are going to break your lowest score, or beat an opponent by 1 shot. The meter could be throbbing rapidly, and you need to nail it to get that good shot.

Maybe 2 meters running at the same time, and you need to get both within the ding range to strike it good, lol.

A random meter size generator does sound good. But having seen some of those cheat programs, then i guess it would be easy enough for whoever designs them to come up with an adjustable program to counteract it.

Just for a second consider the YOUTUBE post may be a scam to con people out of money that are daft enough to hand over their credit card details................has any one seen the $30 (????) guaranteed to make you a winner, I hesitate, "product" in operation..........unlikely that any one who has will say I guess......................My main problem is  not having notes (skill improves in many ways with practice)..............Top TLs are that because they know all the courses backwards, have great equipment (on the whole) and can use that equipment..................
