Hmmm , I can already see how WGT will fix this " ding cheater" program :

Check the pro shop for the new   MAX CONTROL DING PAL !   Only 500 credits for 50 dings !

Man , if you got to cheat to play better , I really feel sorry for ya .

While I realise you are being sarcastic that actually is a possible 'cure' for the cheaters. i.e. If you can't beat them at least make some money from them. If WGT were to bring in their own auto-ding then it is open and legal so therefore no longer cheating.

That doesn't mean I agree with it, but it IS a possible solution.

That certainly is interesting, was doing a bit of sleuthing myself.

Did you have the link posted on your wall, does the poster belong to an extremely exclusive Country Club.?

    Is this the Country Club.

Any constructive criticism anyone has for me I am more then happy to listen.  And there is always always room to improve.

Sir, I wish you the very best in this role. The best thing that can be done is a time period for WGT to fully report back on all the negatives raised recently! Uncertainty is not good and with all due respect to WGT (and nothing personal) the WGT line comes across as looking at it please let this situation go away.  I think we all agree that is "sub optimal".  I said that respectfully!

My best to you in your new appointment, and i mean that!

But back to my original reason for writing this, I think the best way to support WGT and all of it's players is to do more of the mentor and advise.  So this is what I would like to see done.  Alanti, since you brought it up I would love it if you could start a thread specifically for the top players on the site to post gaming tips for all the other players to view.  Doesn't have to be anything major, but something you wish you knew about the site when you first started.  Let's give incoming players and newbies something helpful to read.

If new players want tips you could tell them to take a look at my profile page where there's rough tips for using spin, how wind effect shots and yardage graphs for irons with extra distance gained by using Nike balls, or distance loss by using spin etc etc. If they want to post on my wall advice would be happy to help anyone...always do, and sometimes randomly gift people new wedges, balls to start out.

IMO , a new player should read all the FAQ''s , watch the tutorials , and learn to play with the equipement he has . And if he's friendly , invite some players he enjoys playing with to be on his friends list & ask about joining a good Country club . I found the most help to learning this game there , on their forums ,and thru similar type of players there guilding me . Don't look for short cuts ,or cheats , just enjoy the game !

    FORE !

I understand that it is best if all posts are "positive" and provide insight and help.  But there are so many unanswered questions about the game that there is a limit to just how "positive" and "helpful" such posts can be if the "negative" and "unhelpful" facets of the game get the WGT cold shoulder.

YES - we can provide advice on how to calculate a shot properly.  NO - we have no idea how to overcome the program screwing your perfectly calculated shot.

YES - we can provide insight on ding and off ding shots.  NO - we have no idea how to overcome the program screwing your perfectly clicked and executed shot.

YES - we can provide help on how to read the line and pace your putts.  NO - we have no idea how to overcome the program choosing to alter the line and pace of your putt.

YES - we can provide very accurate club maps and ball effects and interactions with your clubs.  NO - we do not when or why the program will intervene and a club will play well short or way too long.

We need WGT's honest input.  We need some WGT "positive" and "helpful" posts.
