  Is Pebble Beach being added this year? Or is it going to wait until next year for the U.S. Open? Also, Harbour Town is one of the best courses in the U.S., and also one of the most difficult. You would please many people by adding Harbour Town into stroke play. Feedback please. :D

  Pebble Beach is not being added as a stroke play course this year. Maybe not until 2019, if at all, when it next hosts the US Open. This year's US Open venue, Merion, is being added in May and maybe Muirfield, the British Open venue, but no word on that yet. Beyond that, everything is just speculation.

  We just got Pebble Beach back for CTTH play after 3 years or so. If we get the U.S. open course next year it will be Pinehurst #2. Pebble isn't the U.S. open course until 2019. As for Harbour Town they would have to go back and re-shoot the whole course. I'm not sure if they would want to do that at this time.

  2013   Merion     2014 Pinehurst   2015 Chambers Bay  2016 Oakmont 2017 Erin Hills

  2018 Shinnecock Hills   2019 Pebble Beach  2020 Winged Foot

  Since we already have Oakmont we might get something else that year, maybe an early Pebble Beach.     Pinehurst, Shinnecock Hills and Winged Foot are great courses that I have had the pleasure to play........looking forward to seeing those.
