I'd rather see them fix the UEL effects quickly (they modified them after a month, so it can be done) than wait God knows how long for shot-shaping, stance, etc. to go with it.

I think the people here that want the UL's for the US Open think the guys against it can't play it. It's not that we can't play UL, it's that the pitching round the green and the more severe lies needs a lot of work. You shouldn't have to aim 50yds right to land the ball on target when you're only 20 yards away.

I actually think i would have more of a chance of winning the US Open if it was on UL as i like to think i'm pretty good at them. That combined with i also i think there would be tonnes of WD's.

UL for US open would be ridiculous, especially when it is still so unrealistic........would turn it into a joke of a tournament.....

Only to those who simply tried & then abandoned it.  Given decent effort, anyone can get decent at it. Lot of egos out there don't want to appear "almost human".

I know what your saying but that is not what I was referring to........I personally think UL is a great idea & concept , however, it is still greatly flawed & therefore to have in a tournament as big as the US Open would not make sense......thankfully I do not have an ego & have always approached this game as it is, a game...(play lots in real life in a chilled & uncomplicated way....)

Heres a shot from 74 yds, i aim edge of green to the right, not much slope or movement on the dots.

should i need to aim about 35 yds right of pin?  no.

Pitchshot from 19yds, slightly uphill sideways, downwind too, hit it about 21yds of speed

    ends up at 15yds.

Still managed a 60 in heavy winds, atleast two shots with wedges that was so off both in distance and alignment with basicly no movement on the dots.

    DAZZA501:

Which you would think would be pretty easy by just having the ability to move the spin dot sideways instead of just up and down.

    Perfect meter for WGT.

I still dream on seeing the cut at 68 for example and that only can happen with uneven lies and single qualifying matches.

I would like to see the cut at 68 too......but because WGT actually found a way of making the game harder in keeping with the realism of golf...NOT just by making the game a crap shoot where you need to aim at the sun to land on the moon.
