    mnshiner:

No need to yell about a real golf course this is far from it.

And if you have really played the coursers on here in UL you should know that maybe a driver and a wedge is not your best choice of approaching certain holes.

RSG for example you really have to search for a flat spot for your drive to end on( might be a 3 wood could be something else) and then you still have to run the ball up onto the green and not attack the pin.

    School Work!

Course management......was that the term you were trying to get across :)

Once again you come on here crying foul. Replay shows no grid or ball movement. Uphill, sidehill lie where did you expect the ball to go. Short.

Yes and it seem like some of the big name players of this game are afraid of it.

Go and waste your time and save a replay of uneven lies, IT DOESN'T SHOW A GRID, hence the short explanation of what grid WAS showing

1st replay I COULDN'T AIM ANY MORE RIGHT! Soooooo unrealistic

2nd reaply VIRTUALY FLAT, so where has the 40 yards GONE!  wise guy

The big name players are not afraid of it, just wise up to the fact its MICKEY MOUSE GOLF and UNREALISTIC.  As was mentioned earliuer, its only the players who couldn't compete on the standrad game who enjoy playing it as the lottery shots make every one's scoring average

Anytime Chris starter clubs and ball you name it. And I will record it so the folks can see where you make your mistakes. My bandicam works all you have do is check out myself and Hanswurst72 playing Oakmont with starters.

Just as was mentioned previously, whats wrong with the clubs in your bag??? Makes me laugh when some one will refuse to play you with normal clubs but expect you to stoop down to starter clubs... You can bring your water pistols to a shooting contest if you like.  If you want to be a hack, go for it, but any time you want a Proper round, i'm free, (credits wise)  You have similar clubs to me so whats the problem?

I tried inviting you, your hidden

Nothing wrong with the clubs in my bag what about the ones you can't play with. I don't play for credits not money hungry.

    Kriztjan:

The idea of UnevenLies is good, however, as alot of players have noticed, a wedge from 50yds should not turn 11yds on minimal dotmovement, and shortgame is just terrible, therefor the game playes better with even lies at the moment, UEL is flawed and nowhere near the compromises you need to to IRL on simulair lies.

UEL isnt about skill, its just to random how much ball moves, and again, shortgame is  so flawed in UEL it takes the fun out of it.

I hope you don't mind that I've quoted your post but it's a good one and well stated.

First  off I agree the UL play can be somewhat unrealistic in ball flight and distance. I concede that point for a reason. What we have to play with is the clubs we already have. I play and enjoy UL knowing full well that stance and ball movement would make it better and easier to play. Conceding that, I play to get the best out of what we can do and really don't consider what can't be done or what we don't have. Moving the aimer combined with off ding hits in the dark blue section( thank you Hans) can get the ball where you want it rather well IMO. Using the fairways pitch and roll can set up beautiful draws and fades that put the ball right on the hole. You just have to seek it in some practice play and carry it in your mind. Takes more time I concede but I find it more rewarding. Now bunker play I find about as realistic as it could be in UL. We forget that our lies would be severely up and side hill in bunkers playing even lies. It's suppose to be damn hard to play out of US Open and British Open bunkers. I've experimented like you can't imagine with the bunker play and I've found a formula that works for me and my equipment. Took a long ass time but it's possible. That's really all I need is possible. Perfect ball and stance control would be nice but possible is plenty.

*** I'm not a Ready Go Player or a Match Play King. I just play for the most realistic looking golf game on the web. My scoring average reflects my level of concern for that number.***

Now as to whether there should or shouldn't be the Virtual US Open in UL or not, the best solution is to have both. 2 Qualifiers and 2 Opens would sell the most golf balls for WGT so that's what they should be doing. For myself I'd be trying to qualify for both and that's double the GB life used up and needing to be replaced. It's kinda funny that instead of us arguing for one or the other, we should all be requesting that WGT gives all of us what we want. 2 Opens and everyone is happy and no need for grief or insults of character.

Icon just posted in the other thread that the US Open will be as it always has been. It will be on Even Lies.

He's also still working on WGT having an UL Open as well but it sounds like it's not a done deal.

Best of Luck to everyone in Qualifying for the Open and the UL Open if they have one.
