Remember Oly last year - will Merion be the same

  There was a sneaky way of playing Olympic last year when the Open was on, like changing from practice and playing the back 9 or summat simlar.

  I am just wondering if the same thing will happen to Merion in the next few days.

  I thought of this not too long ago,  me and Jim were both trying to finagle our way in.

  I tried using last years link for Olympic - but with changing the course name (obtained from playing CTTH).  Didn't work.  Maybe I missed something though and someone who is better with computers can figure it out.

  I can't remember, could we play Olympic in practice mode or just play regular ranked games other than the Open qualifier before it finished? I just can't remember if they let us play the course any other way than the qualifier from the start of the month.

  as far as i can remember, we only had the ctth available to play.

   

  It was something to do with playing a stroke play round by choosing random course and sometimes you'd get lucky and Oly would get chosen.

   

  Then after playing a round we could challenge friends to beat our score.  With the link that you'd get in the challenge email, you could alter to be front 9, back 9 or all 18 holes.

  Spot on HP, that was it,sending a challenge to a friend, and I remember begging for a sleeve or two for doing it.

  Never got any of course, but it was fun.

  With last years Open on Oly.....   I can't remember, but somdody posted a Link that we could play the course weeks before the Open started or it was released to the public....

  As I said before it was like a secret code.....lol

  This concerns me.... the course is ready to play now....   how many people are getting a heads up on the course?   I'm not talking about ctth's.... Full stroke play
