It's always a good idea to check the stats of advice givers.

    Si Senorita....

You can't argue with the truth...

I like to miss ding on short putts and ding on longer.

Have you tried to miss the ding on all your putts?

Just saying....  I use to do the same as you in my younger days of playing the game and ended up confusing myself too much...lol  Then I started to miss the ding with every putt... long or short.... Except of course if it's a straight putt...then I Ding

The only time I move the aim with a long putt if there is a very fast break and still miss the ding... sometimes close to the edge, but be careful though... if you hit those end lines the putt will go nowhere....lol

Thanks for that Andy...... I've just sprayed coffee all over my laptop ! I nearly peed myself laughing when I read that ! I thought it was just me and my warped imagination, but clearly you've had exactly the same thoughts ! Thanks again mate..... apart from a major laptop cleaning operation, you've made my day.

l have the Nike 71 and love it but went through a stage of leaving short putts under 10ft  frustratingly short.

After reading some tips, and the old adage of 'never up, never in' confidently now add up to 2ft past the hole ,atleast your giving it a chance!

Actually that is what you look like when you finally get a day off after working 14 straight 12+ hour days.
